The new session of the Pennsylvania Senate got off to a chaotic start Tuesday, with Republicans refusing to seat a Democratic senator whose election victory has been certified by state officials.
Amid high emotions and partisan finger-pointing, Republicans also took the rare step of removing the Democratic lieutenant governor, John Fetterman, from presiding over the session.

As the minutes ticked by, tempers flared and several senators began to shout across the aisle as the two sides locked horns and Fetterman presided.
Within an hour, Republicans had voted to remove Fetterman from his spot at the rostrum at the front of the chamber after he failed to recognize a GOP motion to prevent Brewster from being seated.
For several chaotic minutes, there appeared to be two people presiding over parallel sessions, as Fetterman refused to leave the chamber.
It's becoming increasingly difficult to discern fact from fiction, and unfortunately the media has a strong bias. They spin stories to make conservatives look bad and will go to great lengths to avoid reporting on the good that comes from conservative policies. There are a few shining lights in the media landscape-brave conservative outlets that report the truth and offer a different perspective. Stacey Abrams Brags About Lack of Signature Verification in Georgia
Stacey Abrams, the failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate expects Democrats Jon Ossoff and Rev. Raphael Warnock to win both Georgia Senate runoff elections.
Abrams was also on MSNBC Monday night, and couldn't help patting herself on the back for getting rid of exact-match signature verification on ballots-a provision meant to verify that the voters who cast the ballots are actually the individuals they claim to be.
"We were able to secure absentee ballot rules that actually treated every single voter the same. We were able to mitigate and eviscerate the exact-match system that was keeping so many people off the rolls," Abrams told host Rachel Maddow.

While it might be easy to believe Abrams simply said the quiet part out loud, she is clearly proud of her efforts to destroy election integrity.
Like Voter ID laws, exact-match signature verification is designed to maintain election integrity.

The Next Border Crisis Will Be Biden's
President-elect Joe Biden sparked outrage among activists when, a month before Inauguration Day, he retreated from his promise to unravel President Trump's restrictive immigration regime on Day One.
Biden is right to worry that undoing Trump's aggressive enforcement regime would prompt a spike in illegal immigration, but his proposed solution-rolling back Trump's regulations slowly-misses what would cause that rush in the first place.
The problem with Biden's immigration plan is not its speed of execution, but its lack of any principle that would limit immigration, illegal or otherwise.
Biden will end the Trump administration's "Remain in Mexico" policy, instead allowing asylum-seekers into the U.S., where they can then skip out on immigration court hearings.
Biden will return to the Obama administration's "Priority Enforcement" regime, which requires Immigration and Customs Enforcement to focus on serious criminal offenders.
As it relaxes enforcement, the Biden administration will also look the other way on illegal immigration.
Biden and his advisors doubtless regard their soft-touch approach as the most humanitarian option, but by welcoming a surge of illegal immigration, they invite mass suffering in the name of compassion.

Trump sounds the alarm — Dominion machines malfunction in Georgia today…
Reports are coming out of the 12th Congressional District of Georgia that Dominion Machines are not working in certain Republican Strongholds for over an hour.
Ballots are being left in lock boxes, hopefully they count them.
John Fredericks reports that Dominion machines in 'three of the largest Republican precincts are down.
"Dominion machines in 3 of the largest Republican precincts are down.They are told they cant scan their ballots because the machines dont work.The pole workers are saying 'When it's fixed we'll scan it for you'. There's all kinds of red flags".
Police officers placed at Georgia polling locations following threats
Officers have been stationed at 40 polling locations in Georgia after threats were made concerning Georgia's Senate runoff elections Tuesday, The Hill has reported.
The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office said Sunday that they were made aware of an email that went to several county employees "Regarding threats to polling locations on election day." Employees at several other counties received the same email.
The FBI and Georgia Bureau of Investigation are investigating the threats, according to The Hill.
The source of the emails has not been identified, and the sheriff's office did not elaborate on the threats, per reports.
Both President Donald Trump and President-elect Joe Biden visited Georgia on Monday to encourage their supporters to vote in the Senate race.
Tensions are high in Georgia as Tuesday's runoff election will determine which party controls the U.S. Senate for the next two years.

House Majority Leader Hoyer says he doesn't accept the 'premise' that Antifa is violent
House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer on Tuesday slammed Texas Republican Rep. Louie Gohmert's recent statement critical of Antifa and Black Lives Matter, also saying he doesn't "accept" the premise those groups are violent.
Hoyer, a Maryland Democrat, said Gohmert "seemed to be encouraging people to come to Washington and take up violence, if that were called for, in order to express their belief that this was not an honest, fair election."
Referencing a judge's decision to deny Vice President Mike Pence the ability to overturn election results, Gohmert said, "If bottom line is, the court is saying, 'We're not going to touch this. You have no remedy.' Basically, in effect, the ruling would be that you've got to go the streets and be as violent as Antifa and BLM."
Gohmert walked back the comments over the weekend.
"I have not encouraged and unequivocally do not advocate for violence," Gohmert said. "I have long advocated for following the teachings and example of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. of peaceful protest. That does not keep me from recognizing what lies ahead when institutions created by a self-governing people to peacefully resolve their disputes hide from their responsibility. Violence is not the answer. The appropriate answer is courts and self-governing bodies resolving disputes as intended."
Hoyer repeated Gohmert's initial statement about Antifa and BLM on a press call Tuesday with reporters and said his remarks are "worthy of sanction" by the Congress.
"I do not accept that premise on Antifa and BLM, and I don't know that to be the case. But whether it's the case or not; that a member of Congress would suggest that people ought to go to the streets and be as violent as some other group is absolutely astounding, extraordinarily disappointing and worthy of sanction by the Congress of the United States," Hoyer said.
Report Shows EVERY Midnight Ballot Dump Boosted Biden
A new report from a number of reputable, PhD statisticians analyzes the suspicious floods of ballots trickling in following the November 3rd election, concluding all were in favor of Joe Biden.
The report analyzes "Vote dumps" - a "25,000+ vote differential between Presidential candidates, received/recorded at one time."
"The conclusion is that all we were able to find were net Biden Dumps," the report summary notes.
Several states experienced more than one vote dump, but all netted in favor of Biden.
In Georgia, which saw dumps net Biden 119,811 votes, there were two "10-sigma jumps" on November 4th at 01:42:47 03:23:48 UTC. "Ten-sigma jumps have a probability of 1 in 1023," the report notes.
Michigan saw a vote dump net Biden 135,290 votes, with the probability of such phenomena occurring equating to "1 in 10117 - or 14 Powerball wins in a row" per the report.
