This Is Simply Incredible - IRS Believes That By Law It Does Not Have To Release Any Document

If you want to get angry, read this.  It will raise your hackles...  Here are two short quotes.  Regarding a past request for IRS information here is what happened.   "So – cloaked in double-speak – Koskinen effectively announced to Congress that the information Congress is trying to obtain will not be disclosed [regarding IRS targeting of conservative groups].  Christine O’Donnell exposed that the IRS thinks “6103 information” includes not only a taxpayer’s records but also how IRS personnel mishandled that taxpayer’s records. The IRS plans to redact and withhold from Congress all information about misconduct and abuse by the IRS."  and  "IRS interprets 26 U.S.C. 6103 as prohibiting the disclosure of IRS misconduct or abuse concerning taxpayer information."   That means the IRS thinks it can do anything it wants and get away with it.   So, refusal to disclose in this case must mean they are as guilty as can be and that Lois Learner and others should be in jail - instead she enjoys her retirement deriving some of her income from the very people she harmed.  No telling how many other IRS operatives deserve to be in jail for past/ongoing illegal activities.

States with higher minimum wages had higher unemployment

A new study by the free-market American Action Forum found that states with minimum wages higher than the federal minimum suffer from higher unemployment.
Researchers looked at labor data from both the nineteen states that as of 2013 had enforced minimum wages above $7.25 per hour and the thirty-one states that had minimum wages equal to $7.25.
Overall, they found that just a $1 increase in the minimum wage was “associated with a 1.48 percentage point increase in the unemployment rate,” and a “0.18 percentage point decrease in the net job growth rate.”

The Obama Debt Tracker - Obama doubles America's publicly held debt in just 5.2 years

I wish that this were just another bad April Fools' Day joke, but sadly, this story is all too real.

Since President Barack Hussein Obama was inaugurated into office a little over five years ago, Obama, Pelosi, and Reid have doubled America's publicly held debt, an increase of more than 6.3 trillion dollars:

This is an absolutely mind-blowing increase of roughly one trillion dollars every nine months, or approximately $3.7 billion each and every single day. Seven trillion dollars is approximately $22,000 for every single man, woman, and child in the United States.

And given that true economic recovery appears to be nowhere in sight and the federal reserve continues to endlessly monetize the debt and pump countless billions into the markets via quantitative easing, it is pretty much a certainly that the next trillion dollars of debt will be accumulated before we know it.
