New Emails Point to IRS Officials Targeting Political Groups

The Congressional investigation into whether the Internal Revenue Service targeted conservative groups for persecution ended today on a controversial note after former official Lois Lerner refused to answer questions. The rough day for the investigation followed the release of emails corroborating political targeting of groups.

The emails, obtained by the House's investigative committee, indicated that Lerner, in her official capacity, aimed to target political groups out of concern that the Citizens United ruling would lead to more suspicious or inappropriate tax filings. The ruling repealed much of the 2002 Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act and allowed individuals and political groups to contribute more to political candidates and parties.

LT. COL. RALPH PETERS: Putin establishes facts on the ground. Look, the vote in the Crimean parliament today, begging to be allowed to join Russia -- it's a done deal. The plebiscite coming up in less than two weeks is a done deal. Crimea now belongs to Russia. As I've said on FOX before, the only remaining question is how much more of Ukraine Putin will take and when he will take it.

But the weakness, the lack of unity between the EU and the United States -- the greed, the financial cowardice -- is absolutely stunning, and Putin isn't going to stop, and he's going to do worse.

This administration lives in a dream world that negotiations solve everything. This administration, look, they still indulge in this fantasy that you can talk Putin out of Crimea. It is absolutely insane. Putin is not crazy, he's not delusional; our president and this administration are delusional.

Journalists hide real numbers when reporting budget spin

The standard media coverage of President Obama's new budget claimed the proposals will cut $600 billion in spending over the next decade.
It was just about impossible, though, to find any media story mentioning some basic numbers that belong in any story about a new federal budget. How much money is the federal government spending this year? How does that compare to what it spent last year, or expects to spend next year?
Perhaps the reason for this failure is because the real numbers don't match up with the storyline. For example, in the current year, the federal government is expected to spend $3.77 trillion. With all the spending cuts being talked about, a reasonable person might assume that spending next year will be down a bit. But it's not. In fact, the president's budget calls for spending $3.90 trillion in 2015. That's approximately $230 billion more than this year. It's not a one-year aberration either. Spending increases are projected every single year for the next decade and beyond.

As you might of heard, the UAW went down to Chattanooga, Tenn. and took a bullet a few weeks ago when non-unionized workers at the Volkswagen plant told them to pack their carpet bags and head north.
Now the question is: Why would a Southern man trust his future to a German company and not an American union? We deserve an explanation, since we not only bailed out the auto companies but also the pension fund of the UAW.

Are Liberals Less Selfish Than Other People?

Liberals claim to be better than other mortals.   Liberals, they tell us, are a political anomaly who vote for other people’s benefit, not their own.  Democrats see themselves as the generous party, the saviors of the needy, the elderly, the minority underdog against the cruel hand of fate and Republicans.

Liberals are right: there is a difference in caring that shows up along party lines.  Conservatives give more, a lot more.  They aren’t content with good-hearted wishes, they do good deeds, turning wishes into actions.  Conservatives are ten times more personally charitable, even to secular causes.  They do far more volunteer work.  They even give more blood.  Conservatives do more to help the poor, the sick, minorities, the environment.  People who want small government give an average of $1600 a year versus a measly $140 given by redistributionists.  It’s not because conservatives are richer; the opposite is true.    

Liberals rationalize their stingy behavior by saying government welfare is a right.  They will tell you that voting for higher taxes (on other people) is morally superior to charity.  Really?  Out of a $1000 “donated” to the IRS a meager $30 reaches the poor, versus $700 from a private charity.  Our neediest citizens would be in tough shape without the $126 billion in church programs, from soup kitchens to adoption centers to shelters to hospitals.

"Behind The Kiev Snipers It Was Somebody From The New Coalition" - A Stunning New Leak Released

The last time a leaked phone call out of Ukraine was released about a month ago ostensibly by the Russian NSA equivalent, one between US assistant sec state Victoria Nuland and the US envoy to the Ukraine, Geoffrey Pyatt, it was revealed that the real puppet masters behind the Maidan movement, and the true instigators of the Ukraine "revolution" were none other than the "developed" world superpowers, lead by the US. Also revealed were tensions between the US and EU strategies on how to overthrow the current government, culminating with the infamous "Fuck the EU." Needless to say the US, which implicitly confirmed the recording, was angry at Russia and accused it of using dirty tricks.
That's ironic, because when it comes to "dirty tricks" what is about to be presented, blows the top off anything Russia may or has done to date.
Earlier today an even more shocking recording has been "leaked" this time one between the always concerned about human rights EU foreign affairs chief Catherine Ashton and Estonian foreign minister Urmas Paet, in which it is revealed on tape that all those photos of horrifying deaths of Ukrainians by snipers during the last days of the Median stand off, were in fact caused not by Snipers controlled by Yanukovich, but that the snipers shot at both protesters and police in Kiev were allegedly hired by Maidan leaders!
