The deadly cost of Canada's refusal to confront jihadist reality.

In March, the Israeli ambassador to Canada, Iddo Moed, called Canada one of the world's centers of antisemitism. Rabbi Daniel Korobkin from a Toronto synagogue highlighted concerns about the government sending a message of inaction toward rising violence. Evidence supports this concern, as police report young people are being hired for shootings, targeting Jewish institutions and the U. S. Consulate in the Greater Toronto Area. Investigators have identified suspects connected to multiple shooting incidents, including the consulate shooting.

The Canadian government's relationship with the Palestinian Authority (PA) raises further concerns. The PA recently honored 388 individuals known for committing acts of violence and promotes programming that glorifies terrorism. While the Canadian government emphasizes online safety against hate speech, it predominantly focuses on white nationalism, overlooking the threats faced by the Jewish community.

The situation is complicated by the potential involvement of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in targeted attacks in Toronto, suggesting an increase in international threats. Overall, the political climate in Canada appears to embolden these violent acts against Jewish communities while downplaying the actions of Palestinian aggressors.
