Just before dawn on Jan. 25, 2019, the FBI sent 29 heavily armed agents in 17 vehicles to carry out a SWAT-style raid on the Florida home of Roger Stone, one of President Trump's longtime supporters.

The objective: target anti-government dissenters for wide-scale harassment, widespread surveillance and intimidation in order to enhance their paranoia and make them think there was an "FBI agent behind every mailbox."

Medsger, the recipient of stolen government files that provided a glimpse into the workings of the nation's most powerful law enforcement agency, would later learn that between 1956 and 1971, the FBI conducted an intensive domestic intelligence program, termed COINTELPRO, intended to neutralize domestic political dissidents.

Outsourced censorship: Feds used private entity to target millions of social posts in 2020

 A consortium of four private groups worked with the departments of Homeland Security (DHS) and State to censor massive numbers of social media posts they considered misinformation during the 2020 election, and its members then got rewarded with millions of federal dollars from the Biden administration afterwards, according to interviews and documents obtained by Just the News

The Consortium

• The Consortium is comprised of four member organizations: Stanford Internet Observatory (SIO), the University of Washington's Center for an Informed Public, the Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab, and social media analytics firm Graphika
• It set up a concierge-like service in 2020 that allowed federal agencies like Homeland's Cybersecurity Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and State's Global Engagement Center to file "tickets" requesting that online story links or social media posts be censored or flagged by Big Tech

Time to Investigate the FBI’s Sketchy CHS Program

 To the surprise of no one paying attention, the Department of Justice recently acknowledged the use of several FBI informants in its investigation of the Oath Keepers, an alleged militia group tied to the events of January 6.

The FBI-hatched plot to "Kidnap" Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer involved numerous informants working out of multiple FBI field offices.

Two months after six men were arrested for conspiring to kidnap Whitmer, an FBI agent handed Chappel an envelope with at least $23,000 in cash, presumably for a mission accomplished.

"Some counterterrorism CHSs make hundreds of thousands of dollars," Kyle Seraphin, an FBI whistleblower who worked in the bureau's counterrorism division, told American Greatness by phone on Thursday.

" FBI agents are required to keep at least one source on the books, which often leads to problems for long-term informants.

The FBI keeps using [informants] as a hub in a wheel," Seraphin said.

Five Quick Things: Punching Up the Commitment to America

 That's a way to get bogged down, given the poisonous lies of the legacy corporate media, who'll report all the specifics within a context that's as toxic as they can make it.

Major government unions lose over 200K members

 The top four public labor unions in the U.S. lost hundreds of thousands of members since a 2018 Supreme Court case that ruled government employees could not be forced to pay a union to keep their job, a new report shows that.

The Commonwealth Foundation released the report, which found that the top four public labor unions - AFT, AFSCME, NEA, and SEIU - lost nearly 219,000 members altogether since the Janus v. AFSCME ruling.

"In response, government unions are conducting aggressive campaigns to unionize new workers with recent successes in Virginia and Colorado." The loss of members has not been as drastic as was predicted by some when the Supreme Court first issued the ruling in 2018.

Unions got a ban on collective bargaining lifted in Virginia, which has led to local governments around the state unionizing.

Max Nelsen, director of labor policy at the Freedom Foundation, said unions "Have pulled out all the stops to institute other coercive and deceptive dues collection practices, even going so far as to forge employees' signatures on union membership forms."Unions and their political allies in government have responded furiously to the Supreme Court's landmark workers' rights ruling in Janus v. AFSCME," Nelsen said.

"Four states prohibit unions from using taxpayer-funded government payroll systems to collect political contributions or funds for use on political purposes.

" The report also graded states based on their union policies, with right-leaning policies receiving higher grades.

Biden administration tightens student loan forgiveness amid legal challenges

 The Biden administration is pulling back on its student debt relief program amid numerous legal challenges, including six new lawsuits filed by Republican-led states. In a reversal from Biden's original sweeping proposal in August to cancel federal student loans up to $20,000, the US Department of Education announced Thursday that it would not forgive debt from borrowers whose student loans are owned by private entities.

In the newest lawsuit filed in federal court in Missouri, Republican attorney generals from Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and South Carolina requested that the relief program be shut down, arguing it's unconstitutional and that it does "not remotely tailored to address the effects of the pandemic on federal student loan borrowers."

Even the medical schools are now losing sight of their mission.         Dr. Stanley Goldfarb, former Associate Dean of the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine, has warned that the consequences of dropping the MCAT could be dire indeed for quality of patient care. In an opinion piece for Newsweek in July, Dr. Goldfarb outlines three recent studies that all point to the same conclusion – a strong correlation between success on the MCAT and success in residency programs. There are also studies that show MCAT scores correlate with performance on U.S. Medical Licensing Exams – but even this three-part test, which grants prospective doctors the legal authority to treat patients, is being watered down in the name of fighting “systemic racism.”

        For the offense of suggesting that merit, not race, should be the determining factor in who gets into medical school, Dr. Goldfarb was pilloried by the academic medical community, a clear warning sign to any other doctors who might feel similarly to stay quiet. Dr. Goldfarb’s former employer, the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, called his statements “harmful and damaging.”

        Along with the admissions process, medical school curriculum has also become increasingly consumed by the “equity” agenda. In July, for example, the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) – which sets the standards for medical education – released curriculum competencies requiring an understanding of “intersectionality,” “white privilege,” “microaggression,” and “allyship.” The competencies further ask that students be able to “identify systems of power” including “white privilege, racism, sexism.” Many top medical schools are also getting rid of the elite academic honor society Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) because it is allegedly unfair to “underrepresented” students and purportedly “racist” for requiring a certain GPA to gain admission.

        Once hopeful doctors graduate, they are faced with another barrage of demands from the woke medical mob. The American Medical Association – the largest physician association, founded in 1847 – last year released a sweeping “organizational strategic plan to embed racial justice and advance health equity.” Under the section “Equality,” it shockingly says: “Seeking to treat everyone the ‘same’ ignores the historical legacy of divestment and deprivation through historical policy and practice of marginalizing and minoritizing communities.” In other words, the AMA says, doctors should treat patients differently based on race – a clear violation of the Hippocratic Oath.

        In another instance, at its 2020 Conference, the American Academy of Pediatrics’ featured speaker was none other than Ibram X. Kendi – a leading Critical Race Theory scholar who has no medical background. Kendi told pediatricians to consider racism a “diagnosis,” usurping the medical term for ideological purpose. In an even more disturbing development, the AAP is also now encouraging pediatricians to embrace “gender-affirming care” – left-wing jargon for prescribing puberty blockers to minors (which permanently impair normal sexual function) and performing irreversible sex change surgeries on gender confused children.

       This leftward lurch in the medical community has been encouraged and in some cases required by Democrats in Washington. Last year, for example, the Biden administration issued guidance putting Americans first in line to receive monoclonal antibodies based on “race and ethnicity.” The Biden administration has also used questionable tactics to move the needle in private practice. Last year, Biden’s Health and Human Services implemented a rule whereby doctors could earn bonuses if they created “anti-racism plans” in their clinics to “reflect changes in medical practice.” And in March, the Biden administration endorsed sex-change surgeries and hormone therapy for minors, going so far as to legally threaten doctors who refuse to support such radical interventions.

       Undoubtedly as a consequence of these policies, the United States, once the worldwide leader in medical research, has slowly lost its competitive edge to other countries. With medical students, physicians, and researchers preoccupied with social justice, race, and equity considerations, less time is spent learning how to identify diseases, conduct research, and prescribe treatment.

Judge Cannon Slaps Down Special Master Dearie’s Order in Trump Mar-a-Lago Documents Case

 Retired Judge Raymond Dearie, the court-appointed Special Master in former President Donald Trump's 'classified' documents case, has been reprimanded for his demand that Donald Trump produce evidence that the Department of Justice 'planted evidence' in the siege at Mar-a-Lago.

• "There shall be no separate requirement on Plaintiff at this stage, prior to the review of any of the Seized Materials, to lodge ex ante final objections to the accuracy of Defendant's Inventory, its descriptions, or its contents," Judge Aileen Cannon wrote on Thursday.

Judge Cannon's order made it clear that no determination about the allegedly classified documents would be made until well after the 2022 midterm elections.

• In light of delays in securing an appropriate vendor to scan and make available the Seized Materials to Plaintiff and the Special Master, and recognizing the more precise quantification of the implicated pages of material [ECF No. 123 p. 1 (describing that the 11,000 documents approximate 200,000 pages of materials)], the Court hereby extends the end date for completion of the Special Masters review and classifications from the prior date of November 30, 2022 to December 16, 2022.
