First lady Melania Trump delivered a speech to the Republican National Convention calling for all Americans to come together in addressing the issues faced by the nation, while making her case for re-electing her husband, President Donald Trump.
"Following her introduction, Mrs. Trump began,"I want to acknowledge the fact that since March, our lives have changed drastically.
The first lady delivered her speech in the recently renovated White House Rose Garden, in front of her husband, who sat in the front row.
As first lady, I have been fortunate to see the American dream come true over and over again.
In addressing the ongoing protests across the nation that have often descended into chaos, Mrs. Trump asked that citizens "Take a moment, pause, and look at things from all perspectives."
"I urge people to come together in a civil manner," she said.
Making the case for re-electing President Trump, Mrs. Trump said, "We all know Donald Trump makes no secrets about how he feels about things. Whether you like it or not, you always know what he's thinking, and that is because he is an authentic person who loves this country and its people."
It's becoming increasingly difficult to discern fact from fiction, and unfortunately the media has a strong bias.
