Who Do Children Belong to? Parents or the Government?

It is true that some parents are abusive to their children. Such behavior is unacceptable.  But, it is unlikely that their numbers are anywhere close to the number of loving parents.  None-the-less, the government (Child Protective Services) has for some time assumed responsibility for "looking out" for the welfare of children.  And are seemingly becoming more aggressive in doing so.  For example, it has launched initiatives that literally snoop on family matters in which it has no business, even invading homes and removing children without just cause.  This link provides details.   http://www.wnd.com/2013/08/kids-snatched-without-warrants-without-evidence/  This link is lifted from the article's first paragraph...like the first link it is an eye-opener.   http://www.wnd.com/2013/08/critics-firings-only-start-cleanup-at-state-agency/  Anyone can search the net and find many similar examples.  This is another symptom of self-righteous government functionaries overstepping their legitimate bounds.  Many responsible parents have been victimized by inappropriate and potentially illegal actions which inflict harm on innocent parents and their children.  Child Protective Services is just one more government agency that needs its wings clipped.
