The historic venue was filled to capacity as Dr. Will Bolt, chair of the Department of History at Francis Marion University, delivered a lively and masterful presentation on the life and military career of Gen. Francis Marion, the legendary Swamp Fox of the American Revolution.
It's becoming increasingly difficult to discern fact from fiction, and unfortunately the media has a strong bias.
