In January Waukesha County Circuit Court Judge Michael Bohren issued a summary judgment decision banning ballot drop boxes in the state.
Judge Bohren also banned illegal ballot harvesting in the state.
The Wisconsin Elections Commission issued memos to Wisconsin clerks in March and August of 2020 encouraging the use of ballot boxes, saying absentee ballots do not need to be mailed by the voter or delivered by the voter, in person, to the municipal clerk, but instead could be dropped into a drop box.
According to WEC, ballot drop boxes can be unstaffed, temporary, or permanent.
In January Judge Bohren put an end to this illegal practice.
This new ruling is very disturbing to Wisconsin Democrats.
On Wednesday Governor Tony Evers sent out a panicked fundraising letter attacking Republicans for eliminating dropboxes in Wisconsin.
It's becoming increasingly difficult to discern fact from fiction, and unfortunately the media has a strong bias. They spin stories to make conservatives look bad and will go to great lengths to avoid reporting on the good that comes from conservative policies. There are a few shining lights in the media landscape-brave conservative outlets that report the truth and offer a different perspective. We must support conservative outlets like this one and ensure that our voices are heard.
