Despite their frantic efforts to dominate life and government the Democrats are losing their corrupting grip on both our government and nation's culture. This Court’s decisions have made the following points clear. First, government regulations are not neutral and generally applicable, and therefore trigger strict scrutiny under the Free Exercise Clause, whenever they treat any comparable secular activity more favorably than religious exercise,” the justices in the majority argued. The justices listed a number of business activities that California placed looser restrictions on than in-home Bible studies. “California treats some comparable secular activities more favorably than at-home religious exercise, permitting hair salons, retail stores, personal care services, movie theaters, private suites at sporting events and concerts, and indoor restaurants,” the opinion continued. Finally, the justices expressed their annoyance with the number of times they had to overturn the Ninth Circuit’s erroneous rulings treating the free exercise of religion as a disfavored activity. “This is the fifth time the Court has summarily rejected the Ninth Circuit’s analysis of California’s COVID restrictions on religious exercise,” the justices wrote."     Amy Coney Barrett Handed Democrats the Nightmare Ruling They All Feared – DC Dirt Sheet

This is an example of why the Democrats are losing their following left and right. They are completely insane with their irresponsible and foolish political objectives. There are a few lessons in all of this. The first is obvious and has been driven home in the corporate media: Conservatives need to be more careful on the facts. By taking liberties on the potential costs of Biden’s climate goals, conservatives walked into a hailstorm of criticism that could easily have been avoided. The second and more important lesson is that the hamburger misinformation pales in comparison to the corporate media’s misinformation on Biden’s climate targets. Biden has proposed cutting U.S. emissions by 50% below 2005 levels by 2030. This is double the hugely ambitious target set by former President Barack Obama in 2015. 

       Meeting Biden’s emissions targets would require major lifestyle changes that Americans may not want to make. But the media has done a great job of obscuring this fact, so people aren’t aware of the radical sacrifices that could be demanded of them. Talk about misinformation. Hiding the impact of Biden’s climate goals on the American people is misinformation of the highest order.

The hamburger claim is not true. Biden has not proposed banning or limiting hamburger consumption. The claim originated in a Daily Mail article titled “How Biden’s climate plan could limit you to eat just one burger a MONTH, cost $3.5K a year per person in taxes, force you to spend $55K on an electric car and ‘crush’ American jobs.” The Daily Mail piece wasn’t just accurate; it stands out for telling a true story that the rest of the media wants to bury. Hitting Biden’s climate target may be painful for a lot of people, and the Mail piece went through a range of the types of policies that would be needed to hit Biden’s target. The problems started when Fox News and a series of Republican politicians took the hypotheticals set forth by the Daily Mail and treated them as if they were actual Biden policy proposals. They’re not.

       Pretending we can meet Biden’s targets without drastic changes is the key to selling his program. The president has a great ally in the corporate media. They have allowed Biden to pretend a host of social programs are actually infrastructure investments in order to increase their popularity. Infrastructure spending is popular. It polls well. Biden is smart to shoehorn as much of his agenda as he can under the infrastructure label.

The media, however, is supposed to call out that sort of thing. Infrastructure investments differ from government social spending. Roads, bridges and shipping lanes pay dividends in the form of increased economic productivity. We should debate the merits of income redistribution, but pretending it’s an investment in our nation’s infrastructure is a charade the press has been more than happy to promote. Once again Hillary Clinton shows her massive arrogance and know-it-all egocentric character. Except for her bloviating self-serving words and deeds, I cannot think of anything she has ever done or said that was based on meaningful facts and reality. It is long past time for the Democrat party to tell her to just go away and stop embarrassing them. As the piece notes jaws dropped when she lambasted Biden for following Trump's lead.          Everything Hillary said has already been said and debated countless times. But, keeping our troops there facing constant real physical and mental consequences and the enormous waste of our nation's financial resources (not to mention the billions lost through fraud, waste and abuse) in the longest overseas military operation in our nation's history no longer makes any sense at all. It was a colossal mistake to go there in the first place. 

This is a portrait of a corrupt and massively hypocritical Democrat governor. There are way too many of these types around for my taste. She is definitely one of those "do as I say not as I do" types. And, she asks for personal favors of her rich constituents, to boot. I thought that was unethical, maybe even criminal. But then she is a Democrat and they ignore laws all the time. Seemingly they never get punished. I can think of a whole host of Democrats who fit that bill. I bet you can too. Quote: "Watch: Dem Gov. On Wednesday, journalist Charlie LeDuff reported on Deadline Detroit that Whitmer flew on a private jet shared by a group of rich, Detroit-area businessmen. “We wondered why she reached out to us instead of booking a private charter,” one of the plane’s owners told LeDuff. “You can’t tell a governor ‘no.’ Who needs that kind of trouble?” The trip also occurred before Whitmer was vaccinated against COVID-19, according to The Detroit News."    Watch: Dem Gov. This is a prime example of the massive dysfunction that political leftist Democrats bring to any discussion. They actually think they can say and do anything and everyone must agree or else. Up is down, truth is a lie, justice is unjust, hate is good, right is wrong and much more. This dysfunctional left wing reality plays out over and over again. Quote: "ILHAN OMAR PICKED A FIGHT WITH A DISABLED VET AND WHAT HAPPENED NEXT WILL SHOCK YOU.  lhan Omar may have finally bit off more than she could chew. The controversial freshmen Congresswoman found herself neck deep in a crisis over her outrageous comments over whitewashing the role of radical Islam in the 9/11 terror attacks. Omar made things worse by doubling down in a fight with a disabled veteran and what happened next will leave you speechless. Ilhan Omar’s latest controversy surrounds a keynote speech she delivered in March at a fundraiser for the Los Angeles chapter of the Council on American Islamic Relations. During her remarks, Omar claimed that the 9/11 terrorist attacks – where 3,000 Al Qaeda jihadists murdered 3,000 innocent Americans – was nothing more than “some people” that “did something.” Americans were outraged that an elected official would minimize the worst terrorist attack in American history. Texas Congressman Dan Crenshaw – who joined the Navy Seals in the years after 9/11 and lost his right eye in an IED explosion – took Omar to task. Crenshaw tweeted, “First Member of Congress to ever describe terrorists who killed thousands of Americans on 9/11 as “some people who did something”.” President Trump tweeted out a video reminding Americans of the horrors of that awful day and compared them to Omar’s comments downplaying the role of radical Islamic terrorism in the attacks. 

         Omar responded by tweeting, “No one person – no matter how corrupt, inept, or vicious – can threaten my unwavering love for America. I stand undeterred to continue fighting for equal opportunity in our pursuit of happiness for all Americans.” The fake news media then rode to Omar’s defense. So-called “journalists” echoed elected Democrats in claiming that Trump and Crenshaw were “inciting” violence against Omar by criticizing her comments. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez kickstarted this theme by comparing Americans questioning Omar’s choice of words to the holocaust. Ocasio-Cortez tweeted, “Members of Congress have a duty to respond to the President’s explicit attack today. @IlhanMN’s life is in danger. For our colleagues to be silent is to be complicit in the outright, dangerous targeting of a member of Congress.        Omar sure has a funny way of showing her "love" for America. Truth be known this political reprobate has no love for our country or the American military men who saved her life in war torn Somalia or the Country that gave her the refuge she now enjoys. If she did she would show her love in a much different way. But, as everyone by now knows Omar is representative of the unsavory progressive Democrat socialist's world view that America as we know it must be taken down and resurrected as an oppressive socialist state with them in charge.
