Georgia Passed Strict Voter ID Laws And Then Liberals Living in That State Stormed Their Capitol

26 Senators signed on to sponsor Senate Bill 67, requiring "The submission of identification in connection with absentee ballot applications." The Georgia bill also requires "The submission of photocopies of voter identification documents for absentee ballot applications."

I remember, not that long ago, listening to Georgia officials scream from the top of their lungs that Georgia experienced the most secure election in the state's history.

For some reason, the state decided to strengthen its voter laws in the exact manner in which conservatives say caused the worry in the first place.

ID for absentee ballots are now required in Georgia.

Some Georgia residents didn't agree with the strict absentee ballot voter laws and decided to go to the Georgia State Capitol to voice their displeasure with showing an ID to vote.

It's important to note that not a single one of the activists gathered at the Georgia State Capitol lives inside the Capitol building and likely had to carry an ID to get there.

The activists at the Georgia capitol were told to leave on multiple occasions.
