FBI Director Christopher Wray stated on Tuesday that each FBI employee referenced in a Department of Justice watchdog's report about the origins of the Trump-Russia investigation has been referred to the department's "Disciplinary arm." "Every single one of them, even if mentioned only in passing, has been referred to our Office of Professional Responsibility, which is our disciplinary arm," Wray said, according to the Washington Times.
The FBI director did not state whether any of the workers have actually faced discipline, nor did he state the number of workers impacted, according to the outlet.
Wray pointed out that some officials who came up in the Inspector General report departed from the FBI prior to the report's release, which means that the FBI cannot act against those individuals.
