They just do not want their crimes exposed. So they resort to tactics like this because they simply cannot help themselves from trying to prevent the inevitable.

This presidential candidate proves that Democrat's are not smart enough to lead our country.  They are prone to repeat proven past mistakes.  They do the same things over and over again thinking this time they will do it right. Think of things like the minimum wage proven to be a job and small business killer.  Yet they keep on trying with the same results. Candidate Bloomberg intends to repeat one of if not the biggest mistake LBJ made.  What LBJ claimed would be good for America actually proved to be the exact opposite.
