More on the border wall.

Here is the latest.  President Trump and Democrats apparently have reached agreement to keep the government open for three weeks while working to reach a deal on funding the border wall.  Trump says that if no deal is reached during that time he will declare an emergency and start building the wall.   http://trumptrainnews.com/articles/president-trump-agrees-to-temporary-deal   Let's hope this ends the stupidest and most dangerous political gambit sponsored by the Democrats in recent history.

Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, is a real trip.  In this quote she accuses President Trump of: "There is serious and justified concern that this president would shut down the government any time he does not get his way legislatively. That is why we must hold the line on this shutdown."   She has a whole lot of dishonest and unethical hutzpah. What in the world does she think she is doing???  She refuses to provide funding of $5.7 billion for a border wall which she and most Democrats supported not long ago.  Yet it is unbelievable that she actually thinks she holds the high ground because unlike her Trump wants to protect American citizens from a long list of harms inflicted upon them by illegal immigrants. The very same illegals which she chooses to persist in claiming have the right to violate our nation's laws and continue to cost the nation anywhere from $75 to $100 billion every single year. Some estimates are even higher.  Trump is asking for $5.7 billion to mitigate further harms to US citizens, recurring tax costs to those citizens and avert future increasing costs. Incredibly she has actually claimed that we cannot afford to spend the $5.7 billion. But not said but implied that we can afford  plus/minus $100 billion per year in perpetuity to pay the for cost of illegal immigrants in our country?  But then we all know that Democrats have a really poor understanding of fiscal matters. This is an apt illustration. Her logic which by any measure is completely illogical.
