Coldest August in 100 years. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2727734/Wet-cold-bank-holiday-way-forecasters-warn-two-weeks-bad-weather-ahead.html
This item presents a compelling
case that global warming advocates are on the wrong track and possibly
engaged in unethical practices. It details the case of Dr. Murry Salby
who has been dismissed from his position as a professor of climate
science at Australia's Macquarie University. The circumstances
surrounding his dismissal are suspicious. But, despite denials it is
likely that the reason is that he is a climate change denier. It also
highlights the fact that a number of world renown scientists have
rejected the so called scientific consensus, including Nobel Laureate,
physicist Ivar Giaever. Here is the author's last paragraph. "Genuine
scientific inquiry is degraded when science becomes politicized. The
standards that have prevailed since the Scientific Revolution conflict
with the advocacy needs of politics, and AGW would be finished as the
basis of a political program if confidence in its scientific consensus
were undermined. Its advocates’ evasion of rigorous falsifiability tests
points to AGW’s current weakness as a science. As an academic critic of
the science on which AGW rests, Murry Salby may have been silenced for
now. The observed behavior of nature, from which he draws his analysis,
cannot be dismissed so readily." http://www.city-journal.org/2014/24_3_global-warming.html
EPA wanted a number but did not
tell the scientist what it was. After three tries based on science and
not producing the desired number the scientist asked the EPA what number
they wanted. He then manipulated the science to fit the number. Is
this what you want scientists to do? http://www.redstate.com/2014/08/18/garbage-consensus-part/ This is one of the links inside that. http://stevemaley.com/2013/06/10/nytimes-darn-that-rascally-global-warming/
Here is an example of
"government driven opinions," operating outside the facts,
driving climate change alarmism. This is just one more example
suggesting that either ill-informed or agenda driven politics is at the
root of the climate change agenda. http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2014/08/another_climate_apocalypse_prediction_goes_up_in_smoke.html
These data are very interesting and serve to undermine AGW alarmist claims. http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2014/08/no_trend_in_yeartodate_us_climate_extremes_index_since_records_start.html

The debate rages on regarding
EPA rules which impose huge burdens on the coal industry resulting in
enormous impacts on energy consumers. http://dailysignal.com/2014/08/20/epas-climate-plan-flawed-heritage-analysis/
What is so sad is that these EPA rules are founded on highly suspect
science, making them irresponsible. It almost seems that it is their
plan to kill the coal industry regardless of the impact and suspect
science. Candidate Obama said this in 2008. "If someone wants to build
a new coal-fired power plant they can, but it will bankrupt them
because they will be charged a huge sum for all the greenhouse gas
that’s being emitted.” http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/mar/29/obama-kills-coal-as-promised/ Not
only does this show callus regard for the nation's largest source of
energy, the enormous progress made in producing clean coal, the jobs it
provides, subsequent negative consequences for the
nation's commerce/economy and energy consumers but also demonstrates a
misplaced, possibly irrational, regard for suspect climate science.
What hypocrisy. This
billionaire is an example of the elitist attitude that is so absent any
understanding of average citizens simply trying to make a living for
their families. Note how he demeans the 95.5% of the public who don't
live in the lap of luxury he does. Quote: "Though the billionaire has
gone to great lengths in recent years to separate his hedge fund –
Farallon – from coal investments, the fact is that much of his
substantial wealth has indeed come from coal. Every chance he gets, he
speaks out against the burning of fossil fuels while funding political
campaigns with money that he earned from same. Now many of his critics
point out that his investments lie in solar energy, providing the
perfect ulterior motive for his war on traditional sources of
electricity." http://www.fixthisnation.com/conservative-breaking-news/liberal-billionaire-tom-steyer-only-super-sophisticated-understand-climate-change/
