Government Over-Reach & Misguided Actions

This item makes the case that the government can decide what people can/cannot do with their private property.  The problem is it is one-sided.  In effect the government is slowly but surely stripping the right of property owners determine how to use their property.  By misguided government sanctioned law, the LBGT community has the right to demand property owners do what "they" want.  Instead of searching for another place for their event, LBGTs now have the government sanctioned right to impose their will on private property owners.  This is the government picking winners and losers and is nothing short of a miscarriage of common sense and justice.    http://dailysignal.com/2014/08/19/government-farmers-host-sex-wedding-pay-13000-fine/   Here's what happened.  Think about the implications....the government has unilaterally assumed this additional right (among many others) to tell private citizens what they can and cannot do with their private property.  The travesty is that the government, subject to special interests pressures, removes the rights of one group and gives rights to another which, in effect, violates the rights of the former.

This paints a dismal picture.   http://www.moneynews.com/DenisKleinfeld/US-government-Congress-Washington/2014/08/18/id/589314/

And then consider this.  Quote: "The U.S. Army is preparing to fight political dissidents who challenge the power of the state as “megacities” become the battleground of the future, according to a new report in the Army Times."  And, "While the U.S. border remains wide open amidst reports of ISIS insurgents planning attacks, the fact that the security apparatus of the United States is more concerned with taking on political dissidents inside megacities is likely to prompt fresh outrage."   http://www.infowars.com/u-s-army-plans-to-battle-anti-government-dissidents-in-megacities/

Remember "cash for clunkers"?  Was suppose to be a good deal for consumers and car dealers.  Well, it turned out to be another government program that did more harm than good.   http://www.moneynews.com/MichaelCarr/Cash-for-Clunkers-incentive-car-program/2014/09/03/id/592268/?

This seems a bit out of sorts to me.  To you, too?   http://www.wnd.com/2014/08/new-jersey-justice-prison-for-telling-truth/

Reasons why government has no business redefining the historical standard of marriage.   http://dailysignal.com/2014/08/27/7-reasons-current-marriage-debate-nothing-like-debate-interracial-marriage/

Not a governmental agency overreach but a presidential one.  http://bostonherald.com/news_opinion/opinion/editorials/2014/08/editorial_more_obama_arrogance
