The Institute for Safe
Medication Practices has rendered a report in which: “It calculated that
in 2011 prescription drugs were associated with two to four million
people in the US experiencing ‘serious, disabling, or fatal injuries,
including 128,000 deaths.’” Why is the FDA allowed to get away with
such devastating harm to the American public? http://jonrappoport.wordpress.com/2014/05/16/why-the-fda-should-be-charged-with-murder/
And I might add why is the
FDA apparently seeking to impose oppressive government controls over
organic farmers and small farms who use practices in place for
centuries? Is it possible that big agriculture is pressuring them to do
so for their benefit? Surely the FDA wouldn't put big agribusiness
interests over organic/family farmers and their customers. http://www.offthegridnews.com/2014/05/16/fda-to-ban-organic-farming/
Ask yourself, when a government
has powers such as those summarized above who does it work for? In the
first case it is the pharmaceuticals and the broader medical community.
In the second case they are in the pocket of big agriculture who wants
to put organic/small farmers out of business, eliminating their
competition. In both cases it is a certainty that the FDA's abiding
interests are not by any objective measure entirely our interests.
