We
hear from government officials all sorts of conflicting information
about what agency is collecting what specific personal information from
private communications of the nation's citizens. I do not know for
sure what the truth is but I do know that evidence exists that massive
surveillance is on-going and the personal data collected has been used
for nefarious purposes. In addition to sworn testimony regarding such
activity by the NSA, CIA, FBI and IRS this piece of evidence gives me

And, this item recounts then Senator Obama's
warning that there would be government abuse of the Patriot Act. As
this article notes, despite his currently stated words to the contrary
(as recent as this week on the "highly reliable" Leno Show), he and his
administration are apparently proving the truth of his December 2005
