Upside touted; downside hardly mentioned

As expected the drop in the unemployment rate to 7.7 % is being lauded.  The problem is that 296,000 workers dropped out of the workforce between January and February, giving the powers that be the opportunity to tout the 7.7% number while minimizing the leading reason which is the bad number.  In addition, the total number of Americans not working hit a record high.  Wonder how many mainstream media outlets will provide a complete picture?  If thier past pattern holds they will not be really lying; just not telling the truth.  George Burns
