LAS VEGAS —Tonight was a very bad night for Rick Santorum.
While his opponents were rallying their troops and awaiting Florida primary results in hotel ballrooms, Santorum was here in Nevada, pressing flesh at a low-rent Vegas strip mall.
Addressing a sparse crowd of Tea Party activists, Santorum insisted once again that he has no plans to drop out of the 2012 race.
"You'll hear tonight that the race is over — but the truth is, the race hasn't really begun yet," Santorum said. "If you don't like the way that the race is going, just wait a week."
