Things To Think About

I have long been suspicious of the practice of medical psychiatry.  There are a number of reasons but I will not dwell on them here.  But rest assured I do not mean to suggest psychology is fake science.  I think much good can come from talking therapy administered by skilled professionals. My beef is with Psychiatrists and their medication powers and I believe far too many of them are self serving egomaniacs. I have little real evidence to make the charge. My thoughts come from the readings and observations made over the years. I find it disturbing that so called medical professionals can collectively ban together and render a determination of the mental health of someone without ever meeting them in person or conducting a series of interviews/tests/analysis to make such a determination. Most everyone recognizes mental heath problems are extraordinarily complex and often hard to establish without extensive efforts. To me such behavior suggests supreme egoistic personalities are at hand. And, that to me is dangerous. They seem to think their superior medical geniuses is real enough to openly admit they actually think they have such powers. This is the item which prompted these remarks.  https://www.westernjournal.com/group-psychiatrists-lobbying-testify-trumps-mental-health-despite-never-examining/?   Without knowing any of them it just seems obvious to me that they have allowed their personal political views to cloud any professional psychiatric or clinical observations in this case or any other similar cases they may have rendered as an individual or as a part of a like minded psychiatric group. It also seems to be a display of "group think" behavior which reeks of a serious absence of professionalism. It is notable that they did not render a similar assessment of former president Obama who seems to exhibit a number of pathological tendencies. Anyway, that is my two cents worth which is probably worth close to zero.

Topics for Kindergarten to Grade 8 include: implicit bias, white privilege, intersectionality, LGBTQ issues, racism as a “primary institution of the US,” and other such leftist agenda talking points. Children are taught to see skin color first, to assess the negative societal bias against that skin color, and then to fix it by providing preferential treatment to that group. Of course fixing it is complicated. So, children are taught to engage in political activism in order to achieve this goal. Make no mistake, I am not engaging in political hyperbole; the Pollyanna curriculum is clear about their political activism objectives: “By the end of the unit, students will set commitments for rectifying current social ills, such as learning and planning how to carry out anti-racist activism and/or social advocacy in their communities and/or to improve their everyday lives.” Leftist political engagement is thus an educational requirement, an “objective” standard."   https://townhall.com/columnists/marinamedvin/2019/11/12/new-leftist-racial-literacy-curriculum-brainwashing-elementary-school-children-n2556310?   There is no doubt that the political left is actively seeking to destroy our country.  We all have an obligation to work to stop this insidious effort.  Lobby your school board, your elected officials, local, state and federal and demand they take action to reverse this invasion. 

While left wing progressive Democrat politicians running the state of California claim Donald Trump is responsible for California wildfires because of his dismissal of their firm belief in the reality of popular but unscientific Climate Science.  He alone is the cause of all those wildfires even though they have struggled with them for years. However, facts suggest they are their own worst enemy. It is abundantly clear that their projection of their wildfire problems on to Trump is grossly flawed.  Those problems squarely rests on the backs of their ridiculously stupid environmental, insurance and land use laws.  This item explains.  Quote: "California's Wonky Insurance and Land Use Regulations Make the State's Wildfires Deadlier and More Destructive. This item reveals just how insane way too many progressive Democrat socialists have become.  This Democrat Senator puts Climate Science in the religion class rather than the science class.  So, it seems the truth is out.  They think that what people "feel" emotionally about certain matters is more important than factual science. A narrative worth reading about the havoc Obama holdovers have caused within the National Security Council (an arrogant group of so called SMEs on foreign policy) who obviously think they should violate the Constitution and run foreign policy rather than the president. Nancy Pelosi and several other Democrats now probably regret they launched impeachment proceedings against Trump. If they had not done so, maybe this would not have happened.  But it does fit the narrative that Democrat politicians and their families make money while working for the government.  I am sure the same thing happens on the Republican side too. Anyway,  Pelosi's son Peter Pelosi, Jr has been arrested along with three others and charged with securities fraud. Quote: "The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) charged a company cofounded by Paul Pelosi Jr. with fraud on Wednesday after learning that two convicted criminals were running the business.
