The city of Stockton, California, offers proof positive that socialism does not work.  Quote: Here’s a taste of liberal logic. A California city recently declared bankruptcy. They did this after more than two decades of aggressive liberal policies and social assistance programs. In the face of those policies, they saw poverty rates explode exponentially, and now they face one of the worst poverty epidemics in the country. They have solid numbers and definitive proof that their liberal efforts haven’t just failed; they have actively contributed to the problem. What is their solution? They’re going to double down on social programs and instill a universal basic income that they already can’t afford. The announcement came from Stockton, CA, just recently. They haven’t yet said who will get the money or how they will pay for it, but the plan is for a monthly, no strings attached, stipend. This is in a region where welfare attempts have proven to decrease employment and overall economic stability."    http://patrioticviralnews.com/articles/one-california-town-to-turn-itself-into-a-socialist-utopia-with-guaranteed-income/    Not only does this example prove socialism does not work it also proves that socialists Democrats are not very smart.  They are a perfect example of people who do same thing over and over again always getting the same result but still keep thinking it will eventually work, it just has to.  Russia, East Germany, Cuba and Venezuela are prime examples of the abject failure of any variety of socialism.  It is the path to sure destruction.  Yet America's progressive Democrat party has been working for many years in an attempt to impose socialism on us.  It will make them happy but the rest of us will suffer the same terrible consequences past failures have produced.  Democrat elites such as admitted socialist Bernie Sanders (four houses and expensive cars), the progressive Democrat Clintons (multi-millionaires) and progressive Democrat Pelosi's (multi-millionaires) will do very well...until the money they bilk from others finally runs out.   Venezuela is the latest example...check it out and see if you like what socialism does to those of us who the socialist use and abuse while they live in luxury.

More than anything Mueller's investigation has proved the Democrats are wrong about everything they claimed it would be.
