Many hold atheist Richard Dawkins in high regard.  I do not.  I think he is a narrow minded egotist because he, in his arrogance, believes those who do not agree with him are idiots.  That is the progressive way.  While I can't do it I am confident others smarter than me could.  This Dawkins claim is certainly challengeable.  Quote: "Atheist biologist Richard Dawkins continued his attacks on Republican presidential candidates over the weekend, taking specific aim at Dr. Ben Carson’s rejection of evolution during an appearance on “Fareed Zakaria GPS.” “You’ve just told me that all the Republican candidates except one say they don’t believe in evolution. I mean that’s a disgrace,” Dawkins said. “But for a senior, a very eminent distinguished doctor, as he is, to say that — it’s even worse, because, of course, evolution is the bedrock of biology. And biology is the bedrock of medicine.”  The atheist leader went on to say that it is especially problematic that a doctor as prominent as Carson doesn’t understand the “fundamental theorem of his own subject.”  What is incredible is that Dawkins's claim that the "theory" of evolution is the bedrock of biology is unbelievably arrogant.  Further, it is a big time disgraceful put down of a brilliant doctor who could well be smarter than he is.  Belief in an unproven theory as biology's bed rock is religious in tone.  Why do I say that?  Because evolution is an unproven theory but the believing scientist believe it on faith.  There is no irrefutable proof.  And yet those same atheists think those of us who believe in a Creator are stupid and ignorant???  Unbelievably he must think that biology was not a legitimate science until evolution came along.  And it is wise for arrogant evolutionist to remember that Darwin himself said that if proof of his theory could not be found in the fossil record then his theory would be proved wrong.  To date not one credible item in the fossil record has been found, after 150 years or so of intensive searching.  To boot, remarkable scientific discoveries in recent years challenge that theory which resides on increasingly shaky ground.  http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2015/11/02/atheist-richard-dawkins-breaks-down-exactly-why-he-believes-ben-carson-evolution-stance-is-a-disgrace/

This is a very interesting piece and provides a unique perspective on the nature of human consciousness. In a way it is a logical follow-on to the previous item.  Quote: "Among the endless number of states of consciousness, there is certainly a collective version. The individual can enter it, and he can exit it. It’s not the be-all and end-all. It’s not a permanent paradise with closed doors. But who would notice that fact in a world where the population has bought the idea that the conscious individual doesn’t exist, and is merely a biological machine programmed this way or that way? Our most august intellectuals are, under the surface, arguing for the machine view. They’re mixing and matching the metaphysical and the political on behalf of a Collective Hive, because the winds that carry money and prestige are blowing that way. They’re selling the proposition that the individual, his consciousness, his freedom, and his power are delusional dust of a bygone era. They’re using a story about science as their primary tool." https://jonrappoport.wordpress.com/2015/11/10/why-consciousness-must-be-an-illusion/

Much of the government's spending on scientific research is a total waste.  This is an example.   http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2015/nov/5/golden-hammer-150-million-spent-on-tests-that-tort/  Taxpayers deserve better.

I don't know if this was a taxpayer funded study or not.  But, the findings are interesting.  http://teapartybulletin.com/scientist-disgusted-by-what-his-research-proves-about-liberals/

This bit of logic makes absolute sense to me.  Challenging it seems to me would be an illogical thing to do.   https://jonrappoport.wordpress.com/2015/11/01/life-as-matter-and-matter-only-the-fraud/

Abusive/improper/unethical scientific practices need to be exposed so that corruption can be expunged and science once again continue its march to benefit mankind.  We all need to do our part.
