Medical Science.

This item, on the other hand, suggests that swine flu vaccines may in fact be more dangerous than the flu.  Two quotes: "A closer look at the overall infection and death rate from confirmed cases of H1N1 influenza during the 2009–2010 "pandemic," as declared by the World Health Organization (WHO), has revealed that the widely administered vaccine for swine flu is far more deadly than the disease itself. As it turns out, far more people were injured with permanent brain damage, narcolepsy or even death from the vaccine compared to the number of injuries and deaths directly attributed to H1N1."  and, "Roughly 60 million people received the Pandemrix vaccine for swine flu during the declared pandemic, which means that nearly 4,000 people likely now suffer from narcolepsy or cataplexy as a result. Meanwhile, the actual death rate from confirmed cases of swine flu was minimal, with only 71 confirmed deaths in the UK between April 2009 and February 2010. Big Pharma and their distorted studies are intended to mislead medical professionals.  Two quotes: "Big Pharma has so much influence in the field of scientific research, that the professionals who depend on peer-reviewed studies, i.e. doctors, psychiatrists, nurses, etc., prefer to read meta-analyses as a way to ensure objectivity. These meta-analyses combine evidence from multiple studies to weed out studies that produced irregular or uncommon results. In this way, the meta-analysis is regarded as the purest form of research and is heavily relied on by medical professionals. But, again, if Big Pharma has essentially infiltrated the research industry to the point that the majority of studies are being skewed, even a meta-analysis is unreliable.  And, "It will be interesting to see what changes are made, if any, by medical professionals and university researchers now that it is known that Big Pharma not only has its dirty hands in individual studies, but also the gold standard of research: the meta-analysis. This item deals with the unholy relationship between the FDA and Big Pharma.  Two Quotes: "When the FDA finds scientific fraud or misconduct, the agency doesn't notify the public, the medical establishment, or even the scientific community that the results of a medical experiment are not to be trusted...The FDA has repeatedly hidden evidence of scientific fraud not just from the public, but also from its most trusted scientific advisers, even as they were deciding whether or not a new drug should be allowed on the market. Aluminum in vaccines a good idea?  This item says not and has the studies to back it up.  Quote: "Aluminum has no known beneficial function in biology.
