A Rolling Stone Item Worth Reading

When you have a few moments of quite time available, read the linked Rolling Stone item with great care.  If you are not mad, frustrated or out of your mind with rage when you are finished then I don't know what it will take for you to see that our government is going rogue and if not stopped we will be the losers.  The article is about how our government manipulates itself/us when it wants to do what it wants to do regardless of facts or truth or the interests of the nation's citizenry, economy or welfare.  In this case we are dealing with what both the Bush and Obama administrations and a complicit Congress have done in handling the financial crisis wrought from the housing collapse and subsequent taxpayer funded bailouts which promised to save us from total disaster.  Throughout the effort was designed and managed by the financial elites in government, the FED and powerful Wall Street bankers for the benefit of the banks despite what we the taxpaying public were told.  It is a colossus fraud perpetrated on us by our government and its high powered financial allies in the banking/financial industry.  This should be a clarion call for us to demand (and not back down) that any and all elected official come clean and that tansparency (not the Bush or Obama kind which is more of a blackout than transparancy) be implemented.  I have little faith that will work but voting "all" the bums out in upcoming elections is at least a start.  In addition a strong, broad-based grass roots establishment of a third party is essential.  It must be a party committed to smaller, less expensive, less controlling, less imperialistic government and completely absent the self righteousness of recent administrations of both parties.  It must establish and maintain a bulls-eye focus on a more decentralized citizen centered/led government fully capable of combating the ills inherent in both major political parties.  It must have a strong philosopical foundation rooted in the concepts of God given (not government given) inalineable rights of all individuals to life, liberty and happiness as espoused by our founders.  This means a total refutation of the failed belief systems of both the Democrat and Republican parties.
