This November 8 may very well be the last chance to peacefully and constitutionally ward off nationwide catastrophe.
The Democrat party is suffering from a severe illness that only intense and immediate intervention can treat. Perhaps --- just perhaps --- wholesale repudiation of their ideas will initiate a process that will someday return the party to a semblance of sanity and responsibility. But right now, they are in the throes of a delirium, or suffering the effects of an odd addiction; some might even go as far as to call it possession, in dire need of exorcism.
Whatever’s the proper diagnosis, any person professing loyalty to the national Democrat Party organization, that fetid alliance doing so much to make ours a divided, threatened, and --- Heaven forbid --- possibly moribund nation is currently unfit to exercise leadership. Even Democrat ‘dog-catchers’ mustn’t be exempt; the housecleaning needs to be as complete and thorough as free and open elections (assuming they are) allow.
For reasons only a re-animated Sigmund Freud could begin to explain, Joe Biden and the Dems are singing a self-loathing siren song of national destruction. Even they can’t be stupid enough --- and they are indeed very, very stupid --- to believe that the policies they’re pursuing can lead to anything other than disaster. The last two years of the Biden Bad Dream have at least clearly illustrated a shocking truth: Progress, reform, and even that incessantly drummed phrase “social justice” are not their real goals. Taking down the whole shebang, i.e. the demise of America as we’ve known it is what they’re after, and the people who are condemned to penury, poverty and death as a result are just necessary collateral damage in the achievement of their ends.
Whatever happens on November 8, the Democrats’ War to End Energy Independence has already determined that this will be a winter fraught with hardship and shortage. It was the economic equivalent of cutting our wrists; even the blindest of purported “leaders” could see that. Now, cold weather is demonstrating the consequences of such folly; at the time of this writing, we’re facing a diesel fuel emergency that the Biden administration seems not to even recognize, let alone address.
This can’t be simply chalked-up to mere stupidity; it must be more in the nature of deliberate self-harm.
It’s most likely too late to substantially mitigate the real suffering many of us will experience in the coming months by simply casting a vote against the Democrats. Way too much damage has already been done to fully escape it. But if the worst comes to pass --- and it’s not an exaggeration to say that it might --- and this is the final time we can avail ourselves of the electoral prerogatives of a free and relatively prosperous people, then at least by rejecting the promulgators of national suicide we can avoid a small measure of the condemnation future generations will justly heap upon us for allowing our indifference and poor judgment to bring this about.
If fate has judged the living generations of Americans to be too soft, spoiled and weak to uphold the traditions left to us by our stronger, abler, more committed forefathers, and that consequently everything they’ve handed down to us over these last two and a half centuries is to come crashing down around our incompetent ears, then let’s show that at least there are some of us willing to go down fighting. Democrats and the press want to sweep under the rug the fact that a Bernie Sanders supporter attempted to assassinate Republican members of Congress and nearly killed House Majority Whip Steve Scalise.
Police arrested a Joe Biden supporter this past summer for attempting to kill conservative Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.To stop political violence, Gowdy said politicians will have to defend people they disagree with.
“And while we know crazy people are listening, perhaps we should say fewer crazy things. And we should have a plan, a plan beyond simply investigating and prosecuting in the aftermath. We should do more than simply react after something violent and horrific happens. It takes no political courage to defend friends. The question is whether we have the political courage to defend, physically defend, those with whom we disagree,” Gowdy continued.
This is something Democrats are loath to do.
Joe Bidden did not personally speak out and condemn the fact that one of his supporters tried to assassinate a Supreme Court Justice.
The press tried to move on from the 2017 mass assassination attempt as quickly as possible.

“The revelation is significant as the Justice Department faces intense criticism for failing to prosecute those who vandalized, attacked, or firebombed pregnancy resource centers and churches (according to CatholicVote trackers, at least 86 Catholic churches and 74 pregnancy resource centers and other pro-life organizations have been attacked since the May leak of the draft Supreme Court opinion overturning Roe v. In an email dated Nov. 2, the USCCB Secretariat of Pro-life Activities Executive Director Thomas Grenchik updated diocesan pro-life directors and state Catholic conference directors on the Justice Department’s “outreach on pregnancy center attacks.”
“The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has a task force dedicated to enforcing the FACE Act,” Grenchik said. “Recently, the director of the task force reached out to the USCCB regarding the ongoing attacks on pregnancy resource centers.”
The director said the DOJ believes these attacks could be prosecuted under the FACE Act, Grenchik wrote: “He asked for our assistance in letting pregnancy resource centers know that the FACE Act protects them, and in encouraging pregnancy resource centers to report these attacks to federal law enforcement.”
CatholicVote Director of Government Affairs Tom McClusky said the Biden administration seems to be presenting the memo to the USCCB as an assurance that the DOJ takes ongoing instances of pro-abortion violence seriously. But McClusky found that suggestion unconvincing.
The statement “appears to give cover to the DOJ, with one of the conclusions being that the DOJ thinks the problem is the pregnancy care centers not reporting – which the CatholicVote tracker proves to be not true,” McClusky said.
Since May, numerous pro-life groups and pregnancy resource center operators have reported attacks to federal law enforcement, and a number of these groups have publicly complained that the FBI and DOJ have never followed up with them.
McClusky also questioned why the DOJ would suggest the FACE Act as the right avenue for prosecuting pro-abortion violence against pro-life clinics. “That the FACE Act covers the attacks is not news,” McClusky said. “In fact, there’s a multitude of laws in the U.S. Code that are not as questionably constitutional as the FACE Act, and which cover the attacks on these centers.”
The FACE Act has always been a controversial method of law enforcement, which both pro-life and pro-abortion politicians have sometimes avoided using in order to hedge against legal challenges. “For almost a decade both President Clinton’s and President Bush’s DOJ refused to use the FACE Act because they believed it unconstitutional,” McClusky said.

Everyone paying attention knows that the ABC daytime TV show The View is nothing but a left-wing dominated hate fest of all things Trump and Republicans. Whoopi Goldberg is an awful and a roundly opinionated host willing to say anything without a single shred of evidence to back her up. Almost everything she says is wrong, baseless or simply made-up drivel. Consequently, she routinely displays her ignorance of facts. This is but one of countless examples. She is not the only left-wing host with that problem.

On Wednesday, Goldberg — a high school dropout — condescendingly lectured U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas on the meaning of the word “diversity.” “I’ve heard the word ‘diversity’ quite a few times, and I don’t have a clue what it means,” Thomas said sarcastically. “It seems to mean everything for everyone.”
Goldberg reacted by suggesting that Thomas — the longest-tenured Supreme Court justice and the second black person to serve on the high court — was unqualified because he was a beneficiary of affirmative action. “Actually, no, that’s not what it means, sir,” Goldberg said. “You know, being inclusive means that when you look around that court, you’re seeing women who may not have had the ability to go to law school had affirmative action not been there to make sure that women were allowed in the school.”
She continued: “You are sitting on a court where — and I know that you don’t like to admit this — but you might have gotten some help because you would not have been allowed in the college of your choice had it not been for affirmative action. ”Essentially, Goldberg suggested Thomas was admitted to college because he was black and not because he was qualified.
Her attack shows how desperate Goldberg was to discredit Thomas, who graduated ninth in his class with an English honors degree from Holy Cross before moving on to Yale Law School.
If Thomas were a liberal, he’d undoubtedly be lionized as a role model for black Americans. But because he’s conservative, he’s ridiculed and his accomplishments are downplayed.
Goldberg’s pointed dig is one of the many arguments that affirmative action opponents have argued: The patronizing policies — which are supposed to help underperforming black and Hispanic students — end up hurting them because outsiders assume they’re unqualified and only got their jobs or were admitted to schools because of their race. This is an argument that Thomas has himself made to explain why race-based preferences are wrong and detrimental.
In his 2007 book “My Grandfather’s Son” (excerpted by ABC News), he wrote that his race was taken into consideration when he applied to Yale Law School.
“I asked Yale to take that fact into account when I applied, not thinking that there might be anything wrong with doing so,” he wrote.
However, after graduating, Thomas said, recruiters from top law firms were skeptical of his credentials because of the stigma associated with affirmative action.
“Many asked pointed questions, unsubtly suggesting that they doubted I was as smart as my grades indicated,” the justice recounted in his book.
“Now I knew what a law degree from Yale was worth, when it bore the taint of racial preference. I was humiliated — and desperate,” he wrote.
In 1991, when Thomas was nominated to the Supreme Court, he said the stigma of affirmative action cast a long shadow over his career accomplishments.
“Once it is assumed that everything you do achieve is because of your race, there is no way out,” he told ABC News in 2007. “It is irrebuttable and it is proved to be true.
