Some Good News For A Change

This is really good news for tax payers.  Businesses should not rely on government hand outs to stay afloat.  They should conduct business that survives on its own.  If they can't do that they don't deserve to be in business.   http://www.wallstreetdaily.com/2014/06/26/export-import-banking/?

It is increasingly clear that the Democrats will take a shellacking in November.  While Republicans will likely win in a cakewalk it does not mean all will be well.  Plenty of Republicans are also part of the corrupt political cabal in Washington.  But at least it will provide a start in removing the stranglehold the progressives have on all things government.  And the media has a huge task ahead of it if it ever wants to be considered an honest broker for citizens instead of lapdogs/propagandists for progressive interests.  http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2014/06/no_way_out_for_dems_and_media.html

One small step for freedom.  But many, many more need to be taken. http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2014/06/scotus_rules_cops_need_warrant_to_search_cellphones.html

The Supreme Court found that Obama's hand was caught in violation of the Constitution when he made a recess appointment, bypassing the Senate.  Hopefully the court will continue a trend of slapping down his oppressive arrogance and disregard for constitutional restraints.  http://www.nationaljournal.com/white-house/supreme-court-limits-president-obama-s-appointment-powers-20140626

Congress has had trouble getting the IRS to truthfully and completely respond to questions regarding their targeting of conservatives.  This case may well be the solution to finally getting them on the record.  Quote: "The potential destruction of evidence, by becoming a separate tort, opens the door for judicial inquiry into the IRS destruction of evidence. Armed with subpoenas and able to examine and cross examine people under oath, Z-Street has the potential to bust open what really went on at the IRS."   http://www americanthinker.com/blog/2014/06/the_sleeper_case_that_could_bust_open_the_irs_scandals.html

Some people are coming to their senses.  For instance this newspaper publishes and apology for endorsing Mr. Obama.  More should follow.   Maybe something good would result.   http://www.wnd.com/2014/07/newspaper-apologizes-for-endorsing-obama-in-08/
