Politicians Pursue Folly of Successful Bipartisanship to Solve America’s Ills

Today I received an email from two persons who are convinced that all it takes to solve the problems of the United States is to get people together and sit down and talk to each other.
This is not only ‘wishful thinking’ it is utterly misguided and folly.  The best that can be hoped for with this scenario is “more of the same” or the birth of a larger group of “RINOs” or “Liberals”.
The two persons that sent me the email are Nancy Jacobson and Mark McKinnon,
Co-Founders of a group called, No Labels.  And they have two middle of the road politicians who have pledged to lead them: Governor Jon Huntsman and Senator Joe Manchin.
The email authors have titled their initiative “PROBLEM SOLVERS” and I have noted here in regular print the four main points upon which stress must be placed in order for our problems to be solved.  Following each of those main points,  I have printed my response in italics to show my comments on their venture.
