Week Ahead: Senate tackles 2013 farm bill

The House is out of session this week but the Senate has a busy schedule.
The upper chamber will be debating the farm bill most of the week given the more than 80 amendments that have been filed. The Senate also could vote on Sen. James Inhofe’s (R-Okla.) resolution to overturn the coal rules that the EPA finalized late last year.
And, on Wednesday, all eyes will be on the Senate Banking committee when JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon testifies before lawmakers.
President Obama will attend several fundraising events throughout the week.
Voters in Arizona will decide who finishes former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords's (D-Ariz.) term on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has to announce its ruling on the healthcare law by the end of the month. Rulings are traditionally announced on Tuesday so it could be this week — or it could not.
