Catherine Herridge Reveals How CBS Executives Blocked the Hunter Biden Laptop From Hell Story

Catherine Herridge, an investigative reporter, has discussed how CBS executives prevented the airing of the Hunter Biden laptop story. Herridge, who previously worked for Fox News, joined CBS News in 2019 and was later fired in 2024 for her investigation into this story.

• In 2019, Hunter Biden left three damaged MacBook laptops at a Delaware repair shop managed by John Paul Mac Isaac. One was returned to Biden, while another required a keyboard that was never returned. The last laptop was left for repair, but Biden did not reclaim it.

• Mac Isaac eventually took legal ownership of this abandoned laptop. In October 2020, The New York Post released emails revealing that Hunter was involved in foreign business dealings and acting as his father Joe Biden's intermediary in influence peddling.

• Herridge stated that CBS delayed airing the laptop story until after the 2022 midterms, despite it being ready beforehand. She argued that stories should be published based on readiness, not political timing.

• After CBS aired the story, Herridge said that several other stories, including one involving Joe Biden, were suppressed by CBS executives and producers against the wishes of CBS CEO George Cheeks.

Catherine Herridge's revelations highlight concerns about media decision-making, particularly regarding politically sensitive stories. The delay in covering the Hunter Biden laptop narrative raises questions about the influence of corporate executives on journalistic integrity.
