MTG has announced her engagement to Brian Glenn

Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG) has announced her engagement to Brian Glenn, the lead White House correspondent for the conservative outlet Real America's Voice, sharing the news on social media on December 15, 2025.

Glenn first revealed the engagement on X, posting a photo of the couple at Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab in Washington, D.C., with the caption, “She said 'yes’”.

Greene reposted the image, adding, “Happily ever after!!! I love you @brianglenntv!!!”.

The proposal took place at the popular political dining spot, where Glenn had arranged for their usual table with a curtain for privacy, and the same waiter who served former President Donald Trump attended to them.

Greene, 51, was seen wearing a large engagement ring she helped design.

The couple began publicly dating in 2023 after both ended their long-term marriages.

Perry Greene filed for divorce from Marjorie in 2022, followed just three days later by Brian Glenn filing for divorce from his wife Kerry, a sequence of events that has drawn public attention despite Glenn’s insistence the events were unrelated.

Their relationship has attracted scrutiny due to the intersection of media and politics, particularly as Glenn covers the Trump administration while being romantically linked to a prominent Republican figure who has recently broken with Trump over policy disagreements and her push for the release of Justice Department documents related to the Epstein case—actions that contributed to her decision to resign from Congress on January 5, 2026.

Glenn has expressed support for her decision, stating, “No one fought for America harder than you”.

Following her departure from Congress, Glenn plans to relocate to Georgia to be with Greene full-time, though he intends to continue his journalism career from a new studio being built there, maintaining his support for Trump’s policies.

Republican colleagues have publicly congratulated the couple, with Rep. Tim Burchett of Tennessee offering to officiate the wedding for free.
