ICE Rounds Up Gang Members, Criminals in the NYC Hellhole

ICE is currently operating in Manhattan, targeting gang members and criminals, particularly those from Venezuela. New York is viewed as a haven for these criminals due to its sanctuary status and lenient judicial system, which allows them to commit crimes without significant consequences. This environment attracts dangerous individuals who can evade capture and even assault police officers without fear of serious repercussions.

Previously, illegal gangs had little opposition, but federal enforcement is intensifying. Notable criminals, including those on wanted lists, are being apprehended in the city. Alongside this, ICE is uncovering a variety of criminal activities, including gun smuggling and rampant shoplifting that harms local businesses. Critics argue that providing compassion to these criminals by allowing them to remain free endangers law-abiding citizens.

Many of these criminals have been in the city for two to three years, embedding themselves within the community while participating in illegal activities. New York shelters are reportedly housing gang members who are recruiting immigrant children, further complicating the situation. Despite the rising crime rates, some city residents continue to sympathize with these individuals, believing they seek better lives.

The overall impression is that New York City is plagued by crime and deteriorating living conditions. A pressing concern is how to combat these criminal elements effectively, especially given the well-armed nature of groups like the CJNG, which is composed of former Mexican military personnel. A suggestion is made that only a strong military response could effectively address these threats.

The piece suggests a looming fear and a sense of urgency among residents regarding their safety and the city's future due to the growing criminal presence.
