“I Don’t Know Where All This Money Is” – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky Says Ukraine Only Received About $75 Billion of $177 Billion in U.S. Aid

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated in an interview that Ukraine has only received about $75 billion of the nearly $200 billion in U. S. foreign aid since the war began with Russia. He claims that as of September 30, 2024, the U. S. aid funding totals nearly $183 billion, with a significant portion obligated but not yet disbursed. Zelensky emphasized that while Congress appropriated $174. 2 billion from various sources for Ukraine, he believes that only a fraction of that amount has actually reached Ukraine.

Zelensky expressed confusion about the whereabouts of the remaining funds, saying, "I don’t know where all this money is. " He noted that Ukraine has received weapons worth "70-something billion," but insists that the total figure reported by the U. S. does not reflect the real support Ukraine has received, particularly in terms of money. He explained that the aid was received in the form of weapons rather than cash.

In contrast, President Biden reportedly provided only $770 to wildfire victims in Los Angeles while sending billions to Ukraine. There are also allegations of money laundering involving U. S. aid, with some sources claiming that half of the aid sent to Ukraine has been misappropriated, allegedly benefiting U. S. Democrats. Furthermore, it is suspected that much of the U. S. taxpayer dollars may be directed towards Zelensky and his administration’s pensions.

Moreover, it was reported that immediately after taking office, President Trump’s State Department stopped funding military aid to Ukraine for a period of 90 days, surprising officials. During the interview, Zelensky reiterated that when the U. S. describes the support given to Ukraine since the war’s start in terms of hundreds of billions, it does not reflect the reality. He insisted that ultimately, Ukraine has not received the amount reported, raising important questions about accountability and oversight in foreign aid distribution.
