New Jersey AG Announces Election Fraud Charges Against Two Dems.

New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin is bringing multiple criminal charges against two Democrats – Alex Mendez and Dr. Henrilynn Ibezim – over alleged election fraud in state elections between 2020 and 2021.

Mendez, President of Paterson City Council, is facing a set of fresh charges relating to mail-in-ballot election fraud after he already faced charges in June 2020 and February 2021.

Platkin alleges Mendez collected a large number of ballots from households in violation of New Jersey state law as candidates cannot themselves collect and return ballots for the district in which they are running. The attorney general’s office also claims Mendez’s campaign actively destroyed and replaced ballots if they did not support him, and that he completed ballots if left uncompleted, among a number of other things.

Mendez has been charged with conspiracy to commit election fraud, fraud in casting mail-in votes, unauthorized possession of ballots, tampering with public records, forgery, and falsifying records.

“We allege that Mendez and his associates unlawfully collected ballots and tampered with ballots to give him an unfair edge in the race for the 3rd Ward seat on the Paterson City Council” before “He… allegedly set about undermining our investigation into his and his campaign workers’ unlawful activities,” stated Thomas Eicher, the Executive Director of the Office of Public Integrity and Accountability.

Ibezim, who stood as a candidate in a Plainfield mayoral election in 2021, has been charged with allegedly directing associates to fill out blank registration applications and bringing nearly 1,000 to a post office. He also allegedly arrived at a post office on “May 18, 2021, carrying a large white garbage bag” believed to be holding registration applications. 

Ibezim “allegedly resorted to fraud in an alleged attempt to unfairly prevail in this election. This desperate attempt to artificially and illegally inflate support for his candidacy was designed to not only cheat his political opponents out of a victory, but also to cheat the people of Plainfield out of their right to choose their elected officials,” stated Eicher upon announcing the charges.

Johnson Jams McConnell

Johnson is moving toward a Thursday vote in the House on the Israel funding alone.

McConnell has made clear he doesn't want to address Israel funding without Ukraine.

In the Senate, conservatives are urging McConnell to use his leverage - the 60-vote threshold to pass legislation - to demand policy wins in exchange for helping Biden and Democrats pass the larger measure.

Vance said McConnell should force Democrats to accept policy changes at the southern border, before giving them enough GOP votes to pass a massive aid package for Israel, Ukraine and the Indo-Pacific.

"If Sen. McConnell thinks he's going to pass a $100 billion conglomeration - what Biden wants - there's no way it passes the House. Sen. McConnell's not unaware of the way the House works," Paul told us.

In his view, why would you pick this fight with Democrats when you agree with them on Ukraine funding? McConnell has few, if any, incentives to give in to the Republicans who want to de-link Israel and Ukraine - a minority of the Senate minority party.

The lawsuit suggests that Section 3 of the 14th Amendment – which says that anyone who took an oath to support the Constitution but then “engaged in insurrection or rebellion” against it cannot hold office – disqualifies Trump from becoming president again.   The Civil War-era clause, which was ratified in 1868, was intended to prevent Confederate officials from holding elected office. The legal argument has rarely been used since the Reconstruction era following the war and has never been used to disqualify a presidential candidate.  A New Mexico official was ordered removed from office last year over his participation in the Capitol attack, bolstering proponents’ argument that the same rules should apply to Trump. However, the argument was unsuccessfully used against Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) last year. Olson, the plaintiffs’ lawyer, argued that the Colorado case has four basic components: Trump took an oath as an officer of the U.S. The Capitol attack was an insurrection. 8220;And frankly, they’re asking this court to be the first in the country ever to embrace a number of legal theories that have never been accepted by a state court.” 

Congressman takes the stand

Trump’s attorney also turned Swalwell’s own tweets against him, suggesting his own fiery language was not intended to actually inspire violence – and neither was Trump’s. In a May 2022 tweet, Swalwell said “we have to fight like our lives depend on it,” referring to abortion rights.  “You were not advocating violence?” “I was not,” Swalwell said.  

Trial at judge’s sole discretion  

Colorado Judge Sarah Wallace is overseeing the bench trial, meaning she will be the sole decider of the case’s outcome, not a jury. At the start of the trial Monday morning, Wallace denied Trump’s motion to recuse herself from the case, which cited a donation the judge made to the Colorado Turnout Project, a PAC focused on electing Democrats across the state. “I apparently made a $100 contribution to the Colorado Turnout Project.

DC law enforcement, extremism experts testify

Biden Throws $45 Billion In Federal Funds To Convert Offices Into Homes

Taking aim at the nation's housing crisis, the White House kicked off a multiagency push on Friday to help real-estate developers convert more office buildings emptied by the pandemic into affordable housing.

A third part of the program will see the federal government draw up a public list of buildings it owns that could be made available for sale to help bolster development.

The federal government owns about 1,500 office buildings nationally and had leases on almost 200 million square feet of additional space as of April, according to Barclays analysts, who said in a recent report that much of that office space was underused.

Also consider San Francisco's push to turn office buildings into homes hinges on this simple idea.

Warren Wachsberger, CEO of Aecom Capital, a subsidiary of Aecom ACM, said revamping old office buildings isn't that simple.

"Many buildings probably won't work," Wachsberger said, observing that thick, concrete office floorplates often need to be drilled through and plumbing and heating systems overhauled, with local building codes adding to the headache.

The government has 1,500 office buildings nationally and leases on almost 200 million square feet of additional space that it does not need.

IRS Using Fake Names To Intimidate And Harass Taxpayers

The latest tales from the adventures of the IRS coming out of the investigations of the House Judiciary Committee are simply alarming and they involve regular old working-class people, not just Donald Trump or Elon Musk.

It turns out that IRS agents have used fake names when dealing with taxpayers and engaged in tactics that definitely constituted harassment.

The IRS allows its agents to use fake names when they contact taxpayers, according to a congressional report Friday that found the pseudonyms can create a tense and potentially harassing system.

The House Judiciary Committee documented a case in Ohio where an IRS agent showed up at a taxpayer's home unannounced, lied about his name and the reason for his visit, refused to leave when told to do so by the woman's lawyer, threatened to freeze the taxpayer's assets and then filed a complaint against the police when they responded.

It was only after they contacted the IRS' inspector general that they learned the man was a real agent using a fake name, "Agent Bill Haus.".

Is the use of fake names something they put in writing or just some sort of unofficial "Tradition" that developed at the agency over time? How often does it happen? Or, if this office that employed "Bill Haus" was some sort of aberration, was the employee and/or their supervisor terminated?

Mike Johnson's Election To House Speaker Position Already Bearing Fruit For GOP

As predicted, the election of Rep. Mike Johnson to the House Speaker position has sent Democrats and their media allies into fits of howling outrage, with the attacks on his Christian faith commencing apace and mudslingers digging deep in the Wayback machine to find a Confederate soldier family connection.

The attacks from the Usual Suspects on both Johnson and his family don't seem to have done much if any damage to him among the Republican faithful.

The House GOP campaign arm reported its best online fundraising day in 18 months Friday, providing a glimpse into Speaker Mike Johnson's potential to carry on the fundraising torch passed down by his predecessor, Rep. Kevin McCarthy.

The National Republican Congressional Committee, the political committee helping elect more Republicans in the House, pulled in $175,000, the group's best online fundraising day since February 2022.

Of course, while impressive fundraising hauls are nice, it should also be noted that with this power comes great responsibility - not just to the Republican House members who put him in the position after three weeks of drama, infighting, and Democrat meddling but also to the GOP grassroots who seem to be, for the time being, impressed with who and what they see.

Johnson has a rather large task in front of him headed into 2024: Keeping the various GOP factions in the House united while fighting against the Democrat/Biden agenda while also trying to implement one that his members - and the average Joe and Jane conservatives who are counting on him to deliver - can enthusiastically get behind.

It's a tall order to be sure, but as we've noted before, Johnson's conservative/leadership creds are solid, and on paper, at least, he looks to be the man who has the will and determination to get it done.

Early voting is being pushed by political parties, candidates, and election officials in the name of "Convenience." Why? For years we were able to show up on election day and we revered that day.

Since 2020, COVID set the precedent of voting many weeks prior to the election either by mail, drop boxes, or early voting centers.

Every ineligible voter cancels out one of our eligible votes.

Vote centers mix ballots from multiple precincts making recounts tougher to execute and creating longer drives for voters.

World’s biggest carbon capture plant quietly sold off for a fraction of what it cost to build it

Occidental Petroleum quietly sold off a carbon capture facility – the world’s largest — that was built into a natural gas processing plant in Texas, according to a Bloomberg Green investigation.
The plant, called Century, never operated at more than a third of its capacity since it was built in 2010. According to statements the company made to Bloomberg Green, the technology worked, and the facility continues to operate as designed.

The economics of Century weren’t good because of limited amounts of natural gas coming from a nearby field, according to the report, and as a result, the plant fell into disuse before its divestment. It was sold off for a fraction of the cost to build it.

Total carbon capture capacity globally is approximately 45 million tons of carbon dioxide per year, which is about 4% of what’s needed to be operational by 2030 in order to reach the International Energy Agency’s net zero targets by 2050.

Occidental is one of the biggest investors in carbon capture and storage. It operates a billion-dollar complex called Stratos about 100 miles from Century. The Stratos facility uses direct air capture, which sucks carbon dioxide from the air to be stored underground. The company intends to build 100 plants just like it, Bloomberg Green reports.

Vance called the passage "a massive victory for personal freedom" in a statement Wednesday.

Free Speech Is Dead, Reporter Facing Charges For Refusing To Reveal Confidential Source

An Obama appointed judge is trying to force former Fox News reporter Catherine Herridge into revealing her source from a story back in 2017 about a school funded by the Department of Defense that had ties to the Chinese military.

In August, US District Court for the District of Columbia, Christopher Cooper, ordered Herridge to sit down for a sworn deposition regarding a confidential source she used for a 2017 story she covered on a Department of Defense-funded school that was at the center of federal investigations over Chinese military ties while she was at Fox News.

The judge ordered Herridge to turn over her source(s) in response to a lawsuit that was filed by Chinese-American scientist Yanping Chen against the FBI. Chen subpoenaed Herridge in an effort to find out who her sources were.

CNN has more details: Judge Christopher Cooper, of the US District Court for the District of Columbia, issued a ruling to compel CBS News senior correspondent Catherine Herridge to participate in a deposition regarding the identity of a confidential source or sources she used for a series of 2017 stories published while she worked at Fox News.

Citing documents reviewed by Fox News, Herridge reported that Chen was the subject of a federal counterintelligence probe.

In an effort to prove her case, Chen subpoenaed Herridge and Fox News, with the hope of unmasking the source(s) for the stories.

Cooper disagreed with Fox News and Herridge in his Tuesday decision.

Jack Smith Quietly Withdraws From A Trump Investigation

Special Counsel Jack Smith has quietly withdrawn a subpoena seeking records from former President Trump's 2020 campaign as their investigation of whether his campaign committed any crimes continues.

This week, more than a year into their investigation, Smith's office dropped the subpoena request from Trump's campaign following the withdrawal of a similar subpoena to Save America, the PAC formed by Trump's aides.

The rescinding of the subpoenas to Donald J. Trump for President Inc. and Save America indicated that Smith's office was slowing or even ending its months-long investigation into whether Trump's political operation violated any laws by using election fraud claims to raise funds.

Smith's team has been attempting to find out, for more than a year, whether Trump and his advisers violated federal wire fraud statutes in their fund-raising, following a path initially followed by the House select committee investigating the events of January 6, 2021.

Prosecutors have been investigating Save America and the Trump campaign since at least November of last year.

The financials of Smith's probe were not mentioned in the indictment filed in August, which accused Trump of conspiring to remain in office by overthrowing the 2020 election.

Smith's office has made inquiries about the Trump PAC before indicting the former president, including examining his campaign's fundraising after the 2020 election, funds spent on contractors and lawyers, and speaking to witnesses who were connected financially to the PAC.

Older adults who received last year's COVID booster and a high-dose version of the flu vaccine in the same visit may have a potential increased risk of stroke, according to a new FDA-funded study.

"There is no need for panic, and emphatically no need to stop giving COVID and flu shots at the same time to older adults," said Dr. Peter Chin-Hong, an infectious diseases specialist at the University of California, San Francisco, while he reiterated that more research is needed*.

The stroke outcomes were non-hemorrhagic stroke, transient ischemic attack, a combined outcome of non-hemorrhagic stroke and/or TIA, and hemorrhagic stroke.

Incident stroke outcomes were defined as the first recorded stroke for an individual during the observation period following the exposure, with no previous outcome identified during a predefined 365-day clean window.

Stroke outcomes were identified using International Classification of Diseases, Tenth Revision, Clinical Modification codes.

FDA Should Recall 'Adulterated' Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine: Robert Malone

Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine is adulterated due to the undisclosed presence of a DNA sequence, experts say.

Pfizer's vaccine contains a Simian Virus 40 DNA sequence, authorities in Canada confirmed to The Epoch Times.

Authorities found the sequence after outside researchers, including Kevin McKernan, discovered the sequence in the shot.

While the primary genetic sequence of the virus associated with cancer is not in Pfizer's vaccine, there is a portion of the sequence called a promoter-enhancer, which "Can get things into the nucleus, so that is a concern," David Wiseman, a former Johnson & Johnson scientist, told The Epoch Times.

His ideas have been adopted by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, global risk managers, the financial services industry, and universities worldwide that teach climate economics.

Joseph Stiglitz, former World Bank chief economist and professor of economics at Columbia University, told me recently that Nordhaus's projections are "Wildly wrong." Stiglitz singled out as especially bizarre the idea that optimization of the world economy would occur at 3.5 C warming, which physical scientists say would produce global chaos and a kind of climate genocide in the poorest and most vulnerable nations.

Johan Rockström, director of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research in Germany and a leading researcher on climate tipping points and "Safe boundaries" for humanity, projects that in a 4 C warmer world, "It's difficult to see how we could accommodate a billion people or even half of that." Global population today stands at 7.6 billion, with 80 million people added every year.

To understand the gap between climate scientists and climate economists, one must first understand that most economists - the folks we call mainstream or neoclassical economists - have little knowledge of or interest in how things really work on planet Earth.

In DICE, the effect of a warmed climate is measured solely as a percentage loss in GDP. Growth of GDP is assumed to be "Exogenously determined," in the language of economics theory, meaning it will persist at a set rate over time regardless of climate shocks.

"Nordhaus's model doesn't fully take into account the fact that if we don't do more to avert climate change, climate change will affect growth rates," they told me in an email.

Nordhaus has opined that agriculture is "The part of the economy that is sensitive to climate change," but because it accounts for just 3 percent of national output, climate disruption of food production cannot produce a "Very large effect on the U.S. economy." It is unfortunate for his calculations that agriculture is the foundation on which the other 97 percent of GDP depends.

Illegal border crossers surpass 10 million since Biden took office

The number of people illegally entering the country surged after Biden and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas halted many preexisting border security policies, advanced sweeping parole and other policies to release the greatest number of illegal foreign nationals into the country, encouraged people from all over the world to use a phone app to enter the U.S., and facilitated U.S. entry application processes in foreign countries, among others.

Since January 2021, a minimum estimate of nearly 1.7 million gotaways have illegally entered the U.S. Based on earlier projections and including Office of Field Operations data, former CBP chief Mark Morgan told The Center Square the gotaway data is likely to reach or exceed one million for fiscal 2023 alone.

The Center Square has not yet received total internal gotaway numbers.

Combined with at least 1,678,979 gotaways, the number increases to over 10 million.

Mounting Deficits Mark The US's Road To Ruin

According to the U.S. Treasury, year-end data from September 2023 show that the deficit for the full year 2023 was $1.7 trillion, $320 billion higher than the prior year's deficit.

You may think that the deficit is a result of rising yields and that the central bank could have monetized the debt, but that would have meant higher inflation and an even worse deficit because the government would have increased expenditures well above the $6.1 trillion as it always does.

The United States government is unable to spend less than 22.8% of GDP, and no tax revenue measure can eliminate the deficit.

With $33.6 trillion of public debt and the administration's own estimate of the accumulated deficit for 2023-2022, public debt is going to soar by $14 trillion.

Even if the tax receipts had been in line with the government's estimate, the annual deficit would have been higher than $1.3 trillion.

Government spending is the only real source of the enormous deficit that is creating both an inflationary problem and a challenge for the U.S. dollar as a world reserve currency.

High public deficits mean lower growth, lower real wages, and more debt in the future.

When Free Speech ended

The BBC has actually boasted that it does not give airtime to anyone who questions vaccination – “whether they are right or wrong.” And this, it seems, is now acceptable. An author who writes a book on a controversial subject is likely to find it blasted everywhere with anonymous one-star reviews before a copy has been sold. It is not uncommon for the authors of those one-star reviews to boast that they haven’t bought, looked at or read the book in question.

Moreover, whereas the police have often appeared to protect or assist global warming and Black Lives Matter protestors, protests about the fake pandemic and the global warming hoax have been heavily policed.

RFK Jr., Threatened Again, Sues the Biden Administration

Once again, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has encountered a security threat, and yet again, the Biden administration is refusing to provide the presidential candidate with Secret Service protection, despite multiple requests from Kennedy and his team over several months.

The five-page letter to Mayorkas also includes details and photos regarding the threat to Kennedy last month in Los Angeles, where a man showed up at a side door of a Kennedy campaign event, identified himself as a U.S. Marshal, and immediately demanded that he be taken to see RFK Jr. He was carrying a loaded handgun.

In response, campaign manager Dennis Kucinich wrote an open letter to President Biden that was circulated to the press: "​​Although it is a well-known historical fact, apparently, in your case, it bears repeating: Mr. Kennedy's uncle, President John F. Kennedy, was assassinated.

Mr. Kennedy's father, Senator Robert F. Kennedy, was assassinated while a presidential candidate.

The letter notes the Carter administration providing Secret Service protection to Republican candidates Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, Phil Crane, Howard Baker, and John Connally, and even to the potential third-party Democrat challenger, Ted Kennedy, 441 days before the 1980 election, even though Kennedy had not formally declared his candidacy.

Filed with the D.C. District Court with Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. as the plaintiff, the lawsuit includes Freedom of Information Act requests seeking, "All risk assessment reports by the Secret Service regarding Robert F. Kennedy, Jr." and, "All other communications sent or received regarding any request for protection," including those sent to or received by Alejandro Mayorkas.

Obviously, the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy was a terrible tragedy for this nation, as was the killing of his brother, President John F. Kennedy, five years earlier.

Apparently, some of those who had time, effort and investigative resources dedicated to the honest investigation of the Biden family scheme, did not like seeing their investigations shut down simply because Christopher Wray and other politically active leaders in the DC command center of the FBI did not want the Biden family exposed.

Bowman Video Contradicts His Account To Congress, The Court, And The Public

Rep. Jamaal Bowman has pleaded guilty to a single misdemeanor after he was caught on videotape pulling a fire alarm in the middle of a key vote to avoid a government shutdown.

The release of the videotape raises another issue: whether Bowman has clearly lied to not just the court but Congress in his account.

Bowman has insisted in Congress and court that he was confused and thought that the door would open if he pulled the fire alarm.

The video shows Bowman not only taking the emergency sign off the door but never stopping or looking back as he pulled the alarm.

Bowman may not have been motivated by delaying the vote, but the videotape does not suggest that he was trying to open the door.

Bowman never looks at the door, let alone tries to open the door, after pulling the alarm.

It is not clear if the false statement to Congress will have any repercussions for Bowman.
