Medical Matters 2

Some doctors get "bribed" by pharmaceutiacal companies to hawk their wares. Maybe subcontract them is a better way to say it.  This item explains and should not be brushed aside.  One physician had his prescription pad taken away after he repeatedly failed tests assessing his competency.  Another was banned from treating mentally ill inmates and accused of endangering nursing home patients by prescribing excessive dosages of medications. Nuedexta is approved by the FDA to treat only one a rare condition. So the manufacturer hired nearly 500 doctors to promote it for non-approved uses in nursing homes.   http://headlinehealth.com/much-doctor-getting-paid-drug-companies/?    This should make you fully aware of how far pharmaceuticals are willing to go to sell their products.  We should also be concerned with the ethics of willing doctors to go along with the scheme for extra money.  The willingness to pay surrogates to hawk their wares means pharmaceutical profit margins are through the roof.

This study will make you rethink the medical system's mantra on cholesterol.  Quote: "What if the association between LDL-C and heart disease that has been reported from other large studies is be due to the presence of cholesterol doing repair to lesions in your arteries? From this perspective, LDL-C would be a measure of the damage that has already occurred.  Cholesterol is not the real villain. Yet, mainstream medicine continues to focus on the need for a drug to lower LDL-C and warns against saturated fat. We know that statin drugs do lower heart disease and they lower LDL-C… but they also raise HDL-C. Now millions of people (nearly 1 in 4 Americans over age 45) are prescribed statins to lower their cholesterol. And the worry has been all about “elevated cholesterol.” Cholesterol is not the real villain here. The real villain is the combination of other modifiable causes (you can change 90% of them through lifestyle) which trigger inflammation in your body. With this inflammation, your cholesterol becomes sticky and then becomes part of an atherosclerotic plaque. Instead of measuring cholesterol and then taking drugs to lower your cholesterol, you will far more effectively reduce your risk of heart attack by eliminating all these other risk factors which make cholesterol it sticky. Remember, it’s the atherosclerotic plaque that you don’t want…not low cholesterol. In fact, the higher your HDL-C the lower your risk for heart disease. Maybe you will consider supplements that boost your HDL-C such as omega-3 oils in your diet and niacin, along with other heart-healthy supplements, which I’ll discuss in a near future article."    https://easyhealthoptions.com/cholesterol-heart-disease-prepare-mind-blown/

Facts should trump myths but rarely do.  Quote: One of the great illusions of our time is that we live in a civilized world. This implies that we have risen above witchcraft and voodoo. We live in a time when giant multi-billion dollar industries get their profits based on the perpetuation of pure myths. These myths are jealously protected as if they were patents. They allow no infringements and no dissent. We speak of the vaccine industry under the protection and police powers of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The foundation of the vaccine industry is the germ or bacteria cause of disease. The philosophy of public health is founded upon the premise that the public must be protected internally from diseases that originate in external environments. We are “protected” with immunizing shots for smallpox, diphtheria, tetanus, typhoid, colds, influenza, pneumonia, scarlet fever, whooping cough, etc. There are two erroneous theories of disease that support the public policy of immunization. One is that disease is contagious and the other is that subpathogenic doses create antibodies which defend against new invasion of bacteria or germ disease. According to Cash Asher in his book, Bacteria, Inc., “not only is there no evidence of these so-called antibodies being formed, but there is ground for believing that injected live germ proteins (immunizations) continue to multiply, breed and cross-breed ad infinitum, doing untold harm as its reproductivity may continue while life lasts.”     https://boblivingstonletter.com/alerts/whats-worse-witchcraft-voodoo/
Here are the top ten items regarding our failing healthcare system.  Quite a read.  https://realmedicalhelp.com/shocking-facts/eho/?

This is a total indictment of Obamacare.  I found this information most damming.  Quote: "A group that is supposed to help Native Americans sign up for Obamacare coverage in South Dakota received $200,000 in federal funds to support its efforts — and managed to sign up just one person in an Obamacare plan, the Trump administration said Wednesday. …however, with this only being one egregious example, the whole story led me to wonder: Just how much has Obamacare cost, on a per-enrollee basis? In the morass of advertising, outreach, and Healthcare.gov budget costs, getting a final per-enrollee price tag is difficult to say the least.  It took looking back to a 2015 article from The Daily Mail, which examined a CBO report on the law: It will cost the federal government – taxpayers, that is – $50,000 for every person who gets health insurance under the Obamacare law, the Congressional Budget Office revealed on Monday."  Yet Democrats still think Obamacare is the very best healthcare program ever devised.  https://www.theburningplatform.com/2017/11/27/examining-obamacares-per-enrollee-cost-after-the-south-dakota-debacle/

This item addresses one of the most egregious Supreme Court decisions in our nation's history.   Quote: "Perhaps the biggest problem with the Buck vs. Bell decision is that it was never overturned, which means that technically it is still the law of the land. The government gave itself the power to decide who could have children and who could not back in 1927 and has refused to relinquish that power since then. As is clear from the 2001 ruling justifying involuntary sterilization, many of those in power still see some people as being “undesirables” who should not be allowed to have the same rights as other people who are considered to be more “useful to society”. To make matters worse, Oliver Wendell Holmes used the ruling to not only promote involuntary sterilization but also compulsory vaccination, giving the government ample leeway to make all sorts of medical decisions of behalf of anyone that it doesn’t like. Having such a law on the books is entirely unacceptable for a developed nation in the twenty-first century. Those who appreciate the freedom to make medical decisions without government intervention should bear in mind that this freedom is not “set in stone” and can be taken away by a future government or judiciary for the flimsiest of reasons."    http://christianpatriotdaily.com/articles/why-buck-vs-bell-still-affects-society-today/

MRI's can be dangerous.  The culprit is "Gadolinium, a metallic element with magnetic properties. It is injected into about one third of patients getting an MRI, in order to enhance imaging. If your doctor has ever ordered an MRI with “contrast” for you, you were exposed to gadolinium. But most likely you had no idea you were being injected with a known neurotoxin, capable of inhibiting mitochondrial function (energy production) and causing oxidative stress. Originally, it was claimed that, because gadolinium is bound to other molecules, the body quickly excretes it through the urine."    https://easyhealthoptions.com/mri-routine-procedure-ruin-life/

This should frustrate you with government messing in peoples lives and decision making regarding their own bodies.  Ask yourself who intrusive government decisions benefit.  You the citizen they are suppose to serve or the Pharmaceutical companies their partners in crime.   Quote: "Among its many uses, kratom is most widely known for two: an affordable and effective alternative to pain medications, and treatment for opioid addiction. In fact, the plant has been used to halt the body’s opioid withdrawal response safely since 1836. Despite being used to treat addiction, the plant does not get the user high but instead satisfies the addict’s opioid receptors leaving only a mild feeling of euphoria, often compared to a strong cup of coffee. Users report improved mood, a mild sense of euphoria, and often life-changing pain relief without the negative effects of long-term NSAID use. Kratom has no psychoactive effects and no physical dependency – it’s just a harmless plant. Despite being an overwhelmingly better alternative to opioids, the DEA, FDA, and CDC continue to propagate kratom as dangerous. They’re wrong."   https://fee.org/articles/government-is-addicted-to-banning-harmless-substances/?
