Recently Obama took credit for the economy boom that started after Trump started doing this - eliminating regulations that were strangling our economy.  It was prior existing regulations and the unprecedented number Obama imposed that were a huge part of the problem. His policies needlessly burdened the public and commerce without offering advantages to either - they were restrictive rather than constructive.
