Excellent, simply an excellent analysis filled with relevant history.  It deals with fascism, socialism and communism as they relate to today's American political left.  Quote: "Here, for instance, is a passage from Robert Paxton’s “The Anatomy of Fascism.” “It may be that the earliest phenomenon that can be functionally related to fascism is American: the Ku Klux Klan.” Long before the Nazis, Paxton points out, the Klan adopted its racial uniform of robes and hoods and engaged in the type of intimidation and violence that offered “a remarkable preview of the way fascist movements were to function in interwar Europe.” If this seems like a surprising concession by a progressive, Paxton protects his political side by omitting to mention that during this period the Ku Klux Klan was the domestic terrorist arm of the Democratic Party. Moreover, Nazi racism lasted for 12 years while Democratic racism lasted for well over a century. Democratic racism was preceded by the Democrat-run slave plantation and Democratic policies for the relocation and extermination of American Indians. We think of concepts like “genocide” and “concentration camps” as unique to Nazism, but what term other than genocide can we use to describe Democratic president Andrew Jackson’s mass relocation of the Indians? Didn’t Jackson and his allies systematically seek to dispossess, disinherit and dismember the Indians as a people? Using the official United Nations definition of genocide, it’s obvious that he did."  And, "Franklin Roosevelt was an avid admirer of Mussolini and one who closely collaborated with the worst racist elements in America, working with them to block anti-lynching laws and exclude blacks from New Deal programs and naming a former Klansman to the Supreme Court. Mussolini, for his part, praised FDR’s book “Looking Forward” and basically declared FDR to be a fellow fascist. Hitler too saw FDR as a kindred spirit and the New Deal was widely praised as an American form of fascism in the Nazi Party’s official newspaper Volkischer Beobachter and other Nazi publications." And, "If statism and collectivism are at the core of fascism, National Socialism adds another explosive ingredient – anti-Semitism. This much is well known. What the progressives have carefully disguised, however, is the degree to which Nazi anti-Semitism grew out of Nazi hatred for capitalism. The cat is now out of the bag. Democrat Senator Chuck Schumer spilled the beans.  If you do not believe Democrats are now the Socialist Party of the USA, read this item.  The Democrat leader of the Senate, Chuck Schumer, is calling for us to adopt socialism since he claims capitalism has failed.  Nowhere does he acknowledge that his own falsely named political party is directly responsible for the problems he cites.  RINOs need to be included for their collective assault on our nation's businesses, economy, taxes, national debt, failing cities, cultural decay, decaying infrastructure, and excessive/out of control welfare programs and too many to count irresponsible legislative acts. Their version of crony capitalism introduced the massive corruption that lines their pockets and allows industry moguls and government elitists to collude against the interests of the very people they are suppose to serve.  There are too many more sins to count.  Many Republicans play along pretending to but not actually defending the interests of average Americans. If anyone believes Schumer and his socialist/communist colleagues care about our country and we the people that thought needs to be forever erased.  They want to take us down the path of once prosperous Venezuela which is now another in a very long line of failed socialist states. After all of their well documented destructive actions he had the audacity to claim they are the party of the people. That is a lie right out of the communist party play book. They aim to take over by hook or crook and establish their dream of a utopian society with them in charge for their sole benefit and with only a few crumbs for we the people. That is the history of socialism. Consider the current state of Venezuela which former president Hugo Chavez turned from a wealthy thriving nation into a socialist "paradise".  The American political left revered him.  But now the country he and his successor have turned it into a failed nation rife with joblessness, homelessness, food shortages, chaos in the streets and more.  A reminder: The US Communist Party has not run a candidate for president for a number of years.
