Keeping You Informed

This is a prime example of how our Deep State operative's work. The nation's federal and state bureaucracies are filled with way too many un-American criminals. You will not believe it is a fact that we are paying taxes to pay their salaries and they steal some more because they think they are entitled to it instead of what Congress intended. This is clear evidence that many if not most of these bureaucracies MUST EITHER BE ELIMINATED OR SIGNIFANTLY DOWNSIZED. They constitute a major problem for us and our over bloated and corrupt government.

And, get this, our criminal president Joe Biden actually wanted to hire 87,000 more criminals so the IRS could steal even more of our money from us.

Remember this. Our founders envisioned a small, efficient and effective federal government. The respective states, close to the people, were to be the real governments running things in a distributed manner to avoid huge bureaucracies far removed from the population served. Now our bloated Federal Government follows its one size fits all situations approach. Wrong. It is a monstrosity doing serious harm to us and our country by overregulating and stealing us blind with their way too many foolish give away and wasteful programs both domestic and foreign, not to mention their way too many oppressive policies, programs and mandates.

Quote: "Thousands of federal bureaucrats defrauded taxpayers to double their paychecks with Covid aid meant for the unemployed. Downsizing the federal bureaucracy is an urgent priority, and an easy first step is in sight thanks to the larcenous behavior of federal bureaucrats who have nominated themselves for swift termination. Jordan Boyd reports at The Federalist:

… thousands of federal employees double-dipped from taxpayer-funded pandemic unemployment funds while mostly working from home.

Despite staying on taxpayers’ payroll during the height of the pandemic panic, greedy bureaucrats in the Internal Revenue ServiceTransportation Security AdministrationFederal Emergency Management AgencyUnited States Postal ServiceAmtrak, and the Secret Service defrauded taxpayers out of millions more dollars under the guise of Covid unemployment fund and wage assistance programs.

The bureaucrats committed fraud to get the extra money. It was disturbingly easy:

Thanks to rushed and lax standards, whereby “claimants only needed to self-certify they met eligibility requirements when they filed for [pandemic unemployment assistance] benefits,” more than $8.8 million in taxpayer funds were funneled to 638 DHS employees unlawfully. FEMA’s state workforce agencies also paid out $1.2 million in “lost wages assistance” to 935 DHS workers who were “fully employed.” At least 366 of those ineligible DHS officials were actually paid overtime during the period they were approved, receiving up to hundreds of dollars per week on top of normal unemployment benefits.

We must thank Iowa’s Senator Jodi Ernst for publicizing this grift. She noted a 2022 report from the DHS’s Inspector General and has urged prosecution, recovery of the stolen money, and firing in a letter to Michael Horowitz, chair of the Pandemic Response Accountability Committee.

I know that this will shock you, but this is not the only (or maybe even the largest) Covid relief fraud by federal employees.

Already, the Pandemic Response Accountability Committee (PRAC), an oversight committee within the Council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency, determined that “tens of thousands” of federal employees applied for and received Small Business Administration loans even though their status as government-employed disqualified them from taking the handout.

Ernst, the ranking member of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, noted in her letter that the PRAC’s investigation into loans is ongoing and could yield even more deception and taxpayer money wasted by government workers.

And it’s not just federal bureaucrats who have been grifting.

Hundreds of state and local government staff in GeorgiaIndiana, and Louisiana also defrauded taxpayers.

Hundreds in just three states translates to thousands nationwide.

My thoughts: One change could restore how the founders wanted to keep the federal government in check. They wanted the US Senators in place to assure states' rights were protected. Federal level senators were initially selected by respective state Houses of Representatives and were subject to recall if they failed to protect their states interests. That changed with passage of the 17th Amendment during Woodrow Wilson's term in office. It eliminated one check on the power of the federal government. Just one example of a power grab by the federal government.

Wilson is one of the worst presidents in history. It was during his tenure that the Federal Reserve (FED) was established which turned over control of our nation's economy to powerful private bankers. The FED is not a government agency. That responsibility was given by the Constitution to the federal House of Representatives. The Federal Reserve was supposed to enable us to avoid both recessions and depressions. Everyone knows they have failed miserably. Not to mention they create money out of thin air and charge the country interest in the form of loans. They are actually the agency that allows big spenders in government to get what they want. Powerful bankers were the prime movers and shakers for that bad decision and ever since have made out like bandits. Banks too big to fail is just one of the consequential outcomes. So, we lowly taxpayers bail them out with more tax money when they fail to do their job. That is a vicious cycle...
