What Devin Nunes Knows

California Rep. Adam Schiff may not offer much by way of substance, but give him marks for political flimflam. The ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee was so successful at ginning up fake outrage over his Republican counterpart that he successfully buried this week’s only real (and bombshell) news.
Mr. Schiff and fellow Democrats spent this week accusing Chairman Devin Nunes of carrying water for President Trump, undermining the committee’s Russia investigation, and hiding information. The press dutifully regurgitated the outrage, as well as Mr. Schiff’s calls for Mr. Nunes to recuse himself from the investigation into possible Russian electoral meddling.
All this engineered drama served to deep-six the important information Americans urgently deserve to know. Mr. Nunes has said he has seen proof that the Obama White House surveilled the incoming administration—on subjects that had nothing to do with Russia—and that it further unmasked (identified by name) transition officials. This is goes far beyond a mere scandal. It’s a potential crime.

The Yasser Arafat of the Democratic Party

The late terrorist Yasser Arafat (1929-2004) was famous for saying one thing to American media and the opposite to Palestinian audiences. To U.S. presidents and chief diplomatic correspondents he would profess his desire for peace and for a two-state solution, while to Arabs and Muslims he would impugn Jews, hint at Israel's abolition, and incite and pay for anti-Semitic violence. His problem was that, like most liars, he was eventually found out. President George W. Bush saw through Arafat's skein of deception and disengaged from the self-defeating "peace process" that he had manipulated to his advantage for decades. By the time of Arafat's death, it was clear that any practical improvement in the Israeli-Palestinian relationship would have to bypass the Palestinian autocrat. He just couldn't be trusted.
It is by this standard that I hereby judge Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer to be the Yasser Arafat of the Democratic Party. Schumer is so practiced at saying one thing to Democratic elites and another to the Democratic base that it is easy to fall for his charade. But neither Arafat nor Schumer should fool you. Schumer is a hypocrite and a liar and out for no one but himself. And it is for these reasons that his threat to filibuster Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch should be viewed with incredulity.

The Fall of Donald Trump (and Why It Ain’t Happening)

The buzzards are out. These are a subspecies, Bueto Nevertrump vulpinus. The carcass of healthcare reform has them circling. No, actually, they believe it’s the carcass of Donald Trump’s presidency. Repeal and replace dies, so the automatics kick in. “Trump’s failed. He was never up to the job. His presidency hangs by a thread!” And the variation: “It’s good Trump failed, ‘cause Paul Ryan’s bill was a vehicle for socialized medicine. Trump’s an unscrupulous lib. He’s a pretender, and now there’s more proof!”  
Not proof, mind you, of House GOP incompetence. Not proof of a weak speaker and flabby leadership team. Cut ‘em slack. House Republicans only had seven years to figure out healthcare reform and get their act together. The failure belongs to Trump, and shows that his presidency is beginning to unravel… 40-odd days into his administration. The next three years and 325 days are just epilogue.
Reports of Trump’s political death aren’t just exaggerated. They’re absurd. It’s sky-high wishful thinking. So is the cliché that Trump’s itching to go left. It doesn’t stack up against the facts. For those who pegged Trump as a charlatan from the get-go, it’s a never-ending quest for validation. They just can’t be wrong. They’re always doubling down.   
If Trump’s first 40-plus days in the White House are any indication, he has a real crack at making an historic presidency. He could rechart the nation’s course for a generation -- in ways that advance liberty and prosperity.

Mexican Attorney General Charged With Drug Trafficking at San Diego Border

An attorney general from a Mexican state was arrested at the U.S.-Mexico border south of San Diego for allegedly smuggling and trying to distribute drugs over a period of years, according to charges filed by the state of New York in early March.

The State of New York filed drug trafficking charges against Edgar Veytia, Nayarit's state prosecutor, on March 2, which led to his arrest on Monday, according to the indictment and authorities

Veytia was taken into custody Monday at the Cross Border Xpress bridge, which links Tijuana Airport to the United States, U.S. Customs and Border Protection representative Ralph Desio confirmed.

Veytia, also known as “Diablo,” “Eepp,” and “Lic Veytia,” was indicted on charges including international conspiracy to illegally import, manufacture and distribute heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana and cocaine.

JUDICIAL WATCH Releases State Department Emails Clinton/Abedin Sending CLASSIFIED Information Through Unsecured Email Accounts/It Gets Worse.

This is as bad as it gets as far as Clinton and Abedin using unsecured email accounts to send CLASSIFIED INFORMATION.  These records show 29 previously undisclosed Clinton emails – a total of which is now at least 288 emails that were not part of the 55,000 pages of emails that Clinton turned over to the State Department.  If FBI Director Comey cared enough to have done a proper investigation into this case, he might want to know this contradicts statements by Clinton that, “as far as she knew” all of her government emails were turned over to the State Department.
Clinton’s lies grow and grow even as she is no longer Secretary of State or running for President.  It will never end, and I blame James Comey for this.  He can never be forgiven for what he has allowed to continue.  In this case, classified material was sent to Clinton and Abedin’s unsecure email accounts that was information “to be kept secret in the interest of national defense or foreign policy; foreign relations or foreign activities of the US, including confidential sources.”

FBI director James Comey 'wanted to reveal Russian meddling months before the election but was talked out of it by the Obama administration'

• James Comey presented a draft op-ed to top Obama administration officials during a White House meeting in June or July, sources say
• The op-ed unveiled information about Russia's interference in the 2016 election
• His idea was rejected because officials thought the message would have more impact coming from multiple agencies
• He revealed last week the FBI is investigating Russian meddling in the election

FBI director James Comey wanted to go public with information about Russia's interference in the 2016 election as early as last summer but was reportedly barred from doing so by the Obama administration.

According to Newsweek sources, Comey presented a draft op-ed to top administration officials during a White House meeting in June or July.

Bearing Witness As Cities Die

Having lived in three of the nation’s most dangerous cities – Detroit, Baltimore and a short stint in Chicago – I’ve seen the remains of some once-great American metropolises. Outside of pockets (the north side of Chicago, Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, the small, surging sections of downtown Detroit among them), their better days were behind them by the time I came along. But I could see the shells of what once was.
Still, seeing the aftermath and living through the decline are two entirely different experiences. Until a time machine is invented, I never will fully know more than the second-hand stories echoing from the shells of these lost cities.
Hope springs eternal, though much slower as time passes. I’ve seen some rebirths in the midst of decline. But with each new story of a horrific crime or crazed city government initiative, a root is ripped from the future.
As I said, I’ve only seen these cities after they had passed their prime. My time wandering the hull of Michigan Central Station in Detroit in the middle of the night with friends never will replace the firsthand knowledge of living the spectrum from its glory days till now.

Trump tweeted: “Why isn’t the House Intelligence Committee looking into the Bill & Hillary deal that allowed big Uranium to go to Russia, Russian speech.”

Meanwhile, Congress is examining allegations that the president and his aides colluded with Russia to defeat Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election.
The 2010 deal for a majority stake of Canadian-based Uranium One – which required approval from Clinton’s State Department and eight other federal agencies – and its plausible connection to major donations to the Clinton Foundation was exposed by author Peter Schweizer in his book “Clinton Cash and confirmed in a 3,000 word, front-page story by the New York Times.

Co-host Mika Brzezinski introduced Farkas, who was deputy assistant secretary of defense in the Obama administration, saying she “actually knew about this attempt to get and preserve information…and were doing some work yourself.”
Farkas responded by admitting her colleagues worked to preserve intelligence on Trump’s staff before President Obama left the White House.
“Well, I was urging my former colleagues, and, and, frankly speaking, the people on the Hill, it was more actually aimed at telling the Hill people, get as much information as you can – get as much intelligence as you can – before President Obama leaves the administration,” said Farkas, who’s now a senior fellow at the Atlantic Council.
“Because I had a fear that somehow that information would disappear with the senior [Obama] people who left. So it would be hidden away in the bureaucracy, um, that the Trump folks – if they found out how we knew what we knew about their, the Trump staff, dealing with Russians – that they would try to compromise those sources and methods — meaning we would no longer have access to that intelligence.”

John Brennan and Baltic Spies Teamed Up to Defeat Trump

The origin of the Obama administration’s investigation of imaginary Trump-Russia collusion remains murky, but this much is clear: John Brennan, Obama’s Trump-hating CIA director, stands at the center of it.

Brennan pushed for a multi-agency investigation of the Trump campaign, using as his pretext alleged intelligence from an unnamed Baltic state. That “intelligence” was supplied at the very moment Baltic officials had their own political motivation to smear Trump.
“Last April, the CIA director was shown intelligence that worried him. It was – allegedly – a tape recording of a conversation about money from the Kremlin going into the US presidential campaign. It was passed to the US by an intelligence agency of one of the Baltic States,” reported the BBC’s Paul Wood.
Is it just a coincidence that Brennan got this tape recording from a Baltic State intelligence agency in April when officials in the Baltic States were up in arms over candidate Trump? Recall that in March of 2016 — the month before Brennan allegedly got the recording from Baltic spies — Trump made remarks about NATO that the press was hyping as hostile to the Baltic States.

John Podesta, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s 2016 national campaign chairman, may have violated federal law by failing to disclose the receipt of 75,000 shares of stock from a Kremlin-financed company when he joined the Obama White House in 2014, according to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s Investigative Group.

Joule Unlimited Technologies — financed in part by a Russian firm —  originally awarded Podesta 100,000 shares of stock options when in 2010 he joined that board along with its Dutch-based entities: Joule Global Holdings, BV and the Stichting Joule Global Foundation.

When Podesta announced his departure from the Joule board in January 2014 to become President Obama’s special counsellor, the company officially issued him 75,000 common shares of stock.

The Schedule B section of the federal government’s form 278 which — requires financial disclosures for government officials — required Podesta to “report any purchase, sale or exchange by you, your spouse, or dependent children…of any property, stocks, bonds, commodity futures and other securities when the amount of the transaction exceeded $1,000.”

The same year Podesta joined Joule, the company agreed to accept 1-Billion-Rubles — or $35 million — from Rusnano, a state-run and financed Russian company with close ties to President Vladimir Putin.

Anatoly Chubais, the company CEO and two other top Russian banking executives worked together with Podesta on the Joule boards. The board met six times a year.

FBI DIRECTOR JAMES COMEY And NSA Director Rogers Refuse To Show Up On Capitol Hill TODAY For Classified Hearing!

Talk about angry…I am angry!  I was going to cover the hearing today March 28, 2017 on Capitol Hill  of the House  Intelligence Committee classified hearing of FBI Director James Comey and NSA Director Rogers.  HOWEVER, they sent message they would not be available today.  WOW, that is outrageous!  
They were to be questioned about the information Rep. (R-C) Devin Nunes has discovered concerning  the revelation that the Trump Transition Team has been incidentally surveilled in November and December of 2016 and January of 2017.  Names of US citizens were unmasked and widely disseminated throughout the network.  The unmasking of US citizens and leaking of classified information widely disseminated is a felony and carries with it a 10 year prison term.
The Committee also wants Devin Nunes to step down, as Nunes revealed information that he has to the press and President Trump before presenting it to the Committee.  In my opinion, he did this to protect himself.
The information comes from whistleblower Dennis Montgomery who is very sick, and he is being represented by FREEDOM WATCH lawyer Larry Klayman.  Klayman was to attend the hearing today.
Comey is afraid, because he knows Klayman was to present him with questions about this evidence, as Comey has known about it for 2 years.
This evidence proves what President Trump tweeted about being wiretapped.
There is to be a press conference at 10am this morning.

New York Police Department detectives and sources working an underage child pornography case against Anthony Weiner confirm the laptop seized from the former congressman contains proof that Hillary Clinton knew he was engaging in a long sexual relationship with a minor but did not intervene to alert any state or federal authorities to protect the 15 year old.
Not blowing the whistle on the serial sexter allowed Weiner to keep sexting the youth via cell phone and internet chats for approximately another four more months, NYPD sources said. While Clinton was busy campaigning to be the first female US president with Weiner’s wife and aide Huma Abedin, he was at home sending the 15-year-old online porn and divulging his rape fantasies to the girl, NYPD sources said. Weiner also apparently talked on the telephone with the girl, based on intelligence gleaned from the laptop.

The Rise of the Victim-State

While  President Trump expresses the desire to have good relations with Russia, his UN envoy Nikki Haley stated, “The United States continues to condemn and call for an immediate end to the Russian occupation of Crimea.” She added, “Crimea is a part of Ukraine. Our Crimea-related sanctions will remain in place until Russia returns control over the peninsula to Ukraine”– the administration unaware, apparently, that the historical experience of “return” is hardly a Russian specialty.

Impervious to political reality, the Trump administration refuses to recognize that Crimea has   turned its clocks to Moscow time, both literally and figuratively. It has joined Russia, and regardless of Western sanctions and condemnations, there is no turning back of this historic clock; Crimea is irreversible and non-negotiable. But the Eastern Ukraine is open to negotiations and an amicable resolution.

This is one of many ethnic conflicts that have become increasingly common after the Cold War period. As the rivalry between the superpowers receded and the security concerns of the peoples that had allied themselves with either camp took the stage again, nationalistic aspirations created potentially explosive environments. In Ukraine, resentments and grievances suppressed by the power of the Soviet state broke out into a civil war.

Income Tax Filings Down, Income Tax Revenue Up

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is sweating. The burdensome bureau reports that individual income tax filings are down 8.5 percent from this time last year. That amounts to 5.7 million fewer filings from “taxpayers.”

That might sound satisfying to those of us who recognize the income tax as the unconstitutional seizure of property that it is. But before you pop the cork on the bubbly, compare the fall-off in filings with the ramp-up in revenue.

In its monthly statement, the U.S. Treasury Department reports that it collected $611,318,000,000 in individual income tax revenues through the first five months of fiscal 2017 (ending on February 28). That’s up $6,733,300,000 over the same period last year.

So, fewer people are filing their taxes, but the government is collecting more money from the filings?

Trump Budget Cuts Sustainability and Crony Capitalism in HUD

President Donald Trump’s suggested budget’s elimination of the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBGP) is a deplorable denial of basic services to old people and children, according to the mainstream media’s coverage of the president’s proposal.

In defense of the cuts, the proposal explains the excesses and failures of the multi-billion-dollar scheme:

The Federal Government has spent over $150 billion on this block grant since its inception in 1974, but the program is not well-targeted to the poorest populations and has not demonstrated results. The Budget devolves community and economic development activities to the State and local level, and redirects Federal resources to other activities.

A CNBC story about the budget reports that Secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Ben Carson “has been highly critical of public assistance, suggesting that too many Americans have become dependent upon it.”
