For some in our midst facts don't
seem to mean much. Instead, the prefer to make political statements
despite the facts. Such is the case with President Obama. As everyone
should know by now tomorrow he will lay out his plan to combat global
warming/climate change. To think anyone can expect a country comprising
just 2% of the world's surface will reverse so call global warming is
delusional. That is not to say every country should'nt take measures to
protect their respective lands, water and air. Of course they should.
The problem is, in the grand scheme of things, whether or not the cost
to implement the president's specific (and unproven) policies will make
any difference. It is notable that former adherants of the global
warming hype are recanting. For instance the last link in the next item
you will find this quote: "Meteorologists quit Meteorological Society
because Society position on climate based on dogma, not science." http://thehill.com/blogs/e2-wire/e2-wire/307211--obama-to-lay-out-national-plan-on-climate-change-tuesday
Here are a few facts that the
President, the EPA, the Department of Energy, the Department of Interior
and others have chosen to ignore.
