To create jobs, jump-start the U.S. economy and drive more money into
the nation’s treasury, President Obama should forgo tax increases in
his second term and instead embrace much more domestic energy
production, an oil and gas industry leader said Tuesday.
“Energy access, not taxes, is the key to unlocking new revenues for our government,” said Jack Gerard, president of the American Petroleum Institute, in his annual “State of American Energy” address.
