Democrats in Philadelphia and surrounding Bucks, Centre and Montgomery counties last week openly admitted to counting disqualified ballots in defiance of state law and the court order amid a contentious recount of the state’s Senate race between Democrat incumbent Bob Casey and Republican Dave McCormick.
“The Court hereby ASSUMES its King’s Bench authority over the instant Application…only to DIRECT that all Respondents, including the Boards of Elections in Bucks County, Montgomery County, and Philadelphia County, SHALL COMPLY with the prior rulings of this Court in which we have clarified that mail-in and absentee ballots that fail to comply with the requirements of the Pennsylvania Election Code…for purposes of the election held on November 5, 2024,” the court ruled.
The Pennsylvania Supreme Court on Monday ordered Democrats in several counties to immediately halt their unlawful counting of illegal ballots in the Senate race recount.
Now, the state’s Supreme Court has sided with the McCormick campaign and ordered the Democrats to stop counting, effectively confirming McCormick has won the election.
HBO host Bill Maher likewise declared that “no one gives a fuck” about the Pennsylvania Senate race so it doesn’t matter if Democrats are counting illegal ballots.
The McCormick campaign then sued the Bucks County Board of Elections last week for counting 405 ballots that were misdated or undated and therefore invalid.
RNC Chairman Michael Whatley praised the ruling and said Democrats now have “absolutely no choice but to reject illegal ballots.” McCormick initially defeated Casey by approximately 26,000 votes, which triggered the automatic recount.
