American taxpayers are disturbed by the moral rot they're seeing at Columbia, Harvard, Yale and other elite universities.
Our auditors at OpenTheBooks.com quantified the federal contracts and grants awarded to Columbia and other elite universities in a five-year period from 2018 through 2022.
Turns out that American taxpayers contribute more to these universities than the students and their families do through tuition payments.
These universities are more federal contractor today than educator.
Yesterday, my interview on The National Desk by Sinclair Broadcast, owners of nearly 200 ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX local stations across America, broke down all the numbers... INTERVIEW: IT'S TIME TO OPEN THE BOOKS ON COLUMBIA, HARVARD, YALE AND THE REST OF THE "ELITE" UNIVERSITIES Here is just a sample of our findings: Columbia received $5.8 billion in federal contracts and grants during a period when their endowment increased from $10.5 billion to $13.3 billion.
Columbia took nearly $70 million in Covid-aid payments while Harvard, Yale, Dartmouth, Sanford and Northwestern rejected Covid aid because of their massive endowments.
Last year, Columbia took a $3.5 million grant from the National Institutes of Health to "De-colonialize" the earth sciences... that's the study of biology, the atmosphere and geosciences - which they think are too dominated by a white, Western European perspective.
