Things To Consider 2

This item serves as an interesting follow-on to the previous item.  The editor of the University of Alabama's school newspaper wrote in an oped that "If you are white are probably racist."  I do not know what race the editor is but it does not matter because she is probably a racist, too.  Anyone who has the audacity to make such a statement is certainly filled with hatred towards whites otherwise she would never utter such a foolish statement.  I feed sorry for people who project racial hatred on others.  They need to reconcile their own feelings before making a declaration about others regardless of race.   My thinking is that people of the left like making provocative statements like this to make themselves look good.  The truth is the progressive action plan built on Marxism tactic seeks to divide the races and other groups to create conflict.  Conflict they hope will result in replacing democratic principles embodied in the Constitution with communist principles.

Another item regarding the plight black Americans face.  This one deals with crime.  The author of this piece cites another  author who misrepresent factually the statistics in an effort to place blame on whites for the conditions of blacks.  Some truth may exist but based on the analysis and discussion provided it is more of an attempt to excuse blacks that dealing with the issues honestly. Quote: "Author of 18 books and numerous articles, clergyman, preacher, winner of the American Book Award, ubiquitous television and radio personality, regular college lecturer, Georgetown sociology professor Michael Eric Dyson is a go-to man on race issues. Dyson’s new book, Tears We Cannot Stop: A Sermon to White America, is cheered by Toni Morrison for its “profound cultural analysis,” and its “guidance for moral redemption.” With literary grace applied to a story of American racism that itself can reduce a person to tears, Dyson calls upon white America to accept blame for the condition of black America. Beyond that, he asks white America to draw black Americans into its bosom. How will white America respond?   An answer, I suggest, involves an issue that Dyson fails to face squarely: crime and especially black crime, and this failure, paradoxically, impedes rather than helps racial reconciliation. Why do many Americans with resources and choices live in gated communities?  Is it because they fear black crime?  By raising this crime issue himself, Dyson allows for the possibility. For Dyson, to be sure, the fear is morally wrongheaded. Black people, he begins, have no agency; crime is the product of racism and racism alone. Dyson is not altogether wrong; psychological and economic pressures cannot help but encourage socially destructive lifestyles."   And,  "As James Baldwin noted, “nothing can be changed until it is faced.” Disparate victimizer rates are a central problem. The racial crime gap must be narrowed if we are to live together harmoniously. If people like Dyson continue to place the entire burden of remediating racial distancing on whites, that remediation will not take place.  You have to be a veritable racist to agree with Dyson that crime is outside the control of the black community.  Would Dyson agree that social and economic conditions for blacks have improved by 500% in New York City since 1993?  He certainly doesn’t say so. Social development requires trust; and while black populations have good reason to not trust whites, books such as Dyson’s show that the reciprocal is also true, with all the consequences that that entails."

This is a leftist saying that the left's violent resistance efforts needs to be more organized if they are to work. Quote: "HuffPost writer Jesse Benn tweeted Wednesday that violent resistance must be organized to work. The tweet came after a gunman opened fire on Republican lawmakers early Wednesday morning. The gunman shot five people: House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R., La.), two Capitol Police officers, a congressional aide, and a lobbyist. The hospital treating some of the victims released a statement that said Scalise was still in critical condition. The gunman was shot and taken to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries. Benn wrote that violent resistance needed to be organized and that individual acts of resistance were "counterproductive/ineffective," but still understandable."    Does anyone need more proof that the left is actively seeking to destroy Trump and those who support him.  They are quite open about it and it is an ominous omen. This is sedition.  But to hide their guilt when something bad actually happened the Huffington Post scrambled to hide the fact that one of their writers called for assassinations.  Not convinced yet? Consider what this Democrat tells people to do. Quote: "Democratic strategist James Devine sent out a disturbing message to his followers, essentially urging them to “Hunt Republicans,” on the same day a gunman opened fire on Republican lawmakers.  According to Newsmax, Devine posted many disgusting views all over social media encouraging Democrat Americans to lash out against Republicans."   Is this how most Democrats think?  If so we have a serious problem.  And, they claim to be the tolerant ones???   The young Democrat socialists are getting in on the act, too. Quote: "The University of Southern Georgia’s “Young Democratic Socialists” club recently sent a suggestion to the House on how they should negotiate with Republicans...[the] club suggested House Republicans ought to be “guillotined.” They shared this in response to a sickening statement by an Art Institute of Washington professor calling for Republicans to be “lined up and shot.”  Nice people those liberal Democrats.  Leftist celebrities brush off any suggestion they have contributed to the hate emanating from the left.  And,   This guy was only stabbed nine times because he is white and a Trump supporter.     This is the type of language and behavior reminiscent of leftist actions that ultimately resulted in the tumultuous first half of the 20th century.  Let's hope we do not repeat that travesty.

More trouble for Democrats as the DNC gets sued for corruption by Bernie Sanders.  His lawyer lays out the case.  Quote: "I would think of this as a case against the ultimate political Ponzi scheme,” Beck said of the DNC’s actions. “We are used to the concept of Ponzi schemes in the investment world. In my view, the DNC is really no different: it was purporting to be ‘selling’ a fair primary process but in reality was serving as a front for the Hillary Clinton campaign. People lost well over $200 million as a result.”  And, "Beck was confident that, if the lawsuit moved forward, more corrupt dealings would be exposed."

Doesn't this look an awful lot like obstruction of justice???    Quote: "House Democrats are continuing to block testimony from about a dozen witnesses who sought to appear before the intelligence oversight panel investigating Russian interference in the 2016 election.  Congressional officials said one of the key witnesses, former informal adviser to the Trump campaign Carter Page, was scheduled to testify at a closed hearing of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence."   Does their need to prepare mean themselves or their need to prep the witnesses?

Liberal Democrat and Harvard lawyer Alan Dershowitz says, "Dershowitz also said he does not get the sense that the Democratic Party wants to turn the page and get back to tax reform, healthcare, or other issues.  "They are a divided party," said Dershowitz, a lifelong Democrat.  "Right now, the visible manifestation of the Democratic Party is Bernie Sanders, or Keith Ellison. The party is moving lefter and lefter and lefter, and they are not going to get the centrist Americans who they need to win in Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, if they want to turn this thing around."

This politician is part of the problem.  She should have long ago been recalled by her constituents.  In the face of all the available evidence to the contrary she has the audacity to say it is the Republicans who are responsible for all the problems now confronting our country.  She is an unadulterated partisan hack.   She is an embarrassment to the House of Representatives.
