More Interesting Items 3

If you don't think LGBT activists are attempting to force acceptance of their lifestyle on others, consider what is just one of many, many examples of their disrespectful and uncompromising belief that it is their right to do so, ignoring the rights of others.  Quote: "Officials at Hillsborough County Public Schools in Tampa, Florida are being asked to stop the bullying by a math teacher who is an open advocate for the LGBT lifestyle and has, among other things, banned students from wearing cross necklaces in her classroom."

In past items we have examined multiple examples of government employees who have poor performance records and who engage in unethical activities.  This piece deals with the specifics of failures of EPA employees. Quote: "The Environmental Protection Agency has been riddled with employee misconduct, including workers who drink, smoke marijuana, and watch porn on the job.  Inspector general reports over the past few years detailing employee misbehavior could serve as ammunition for EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt, who is seeking to eliminate 25 percent of the 15,000 employees at the agency.  Only 6.5 percent of EPA employees are "essential," according to the government's own calculations when it faced a shutdown in 2013. At the time, just 1,069 employees were deemed necessary to continue working during the 16 days the government closed."   This type dilemma afflicts both Republicans and Democrats.

This is an excellent commentary regarding the suppression of free speech.  Quote: "Even worse, people are focused on the issue of free speech as if it consists of nothing more than nasty remarks; and the burning question is, who has a right to be nasty, and in what situations, and for what reasons?  Whereas, the intent and hope for free speech was that it would rise higher and elevate into conversation that actually sought the truth, and examined basic principles on which that truth would stand. In a free society.  Where fear of an idea didn’t exist."

Why the political left persists in violating religious principles, values, rights is not possible to understand, unless it is their belief in their own self righteousness and that there is nothing more worthy of worship than governments. Many innocent people pay the price for such nonsense.  Quote: "It’s easy to think about battles for religious freedom as strictly courtroom affairs. But when religious freedom is attacked, it has painfully real consequences in the lives of everyday Americans—honest, hardworking folks just like you. And those consequences take their toll long before courtroom arguments begin. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito acknowledged this when he gave a rare, public speech last month. As Justice Alito named numerous consequences everyday Americans have faced for following their conscience, he could have been speaking about First Liberty clients. Here are 10 ways hostility to religious freedom has affected First Liberty clients—everyday Americans like you."

Will the political left ever learn that taking steps such as those in this piece are big, big mistakes, proven over and over and over again?

These people are totally irrational in the defense of the indefensible.  What is the Democrat party becoming?

The Clinton's may no longer be politicians but they continue with their dirty deeds.  This item explains.  Quote: "It’s a classic Clinton political hit.  Under pressure from Clinton-loyalists, companies like AllState, Mitsubishi, Hyundai, T. Rowe Price, and dozens more pulled millions of dollars from O’Reilly’s program — and shoved them straight into the Clinton’s pockets.  And Fox News let them get away with it."    They have long been money grubbers first with politics a distant second.  Otherwise, how did they start with little to nothing but after 40 years in politics end up multi-millionaires.

This item provides a revelation by one of Obama's officials attempting to excuse or justify their Middle East Policy.  Quote: "As a unified field theory for Obama’s Middle East policy, it works very well. It explains our precipitate withdrawal from Iraq. It explains the lackadaisical attitude towards Afghanistan. It explains the hostility to Israel. It explains letting Assad carry out indiscriminate slaughter in Syria. It explains how Syria got to keep chemical weapons it was supposed to have surrendered. It explains the betrayal of the “rebels” we were backing to the benefit of Hezbollah and Iranian militias. It explains our sailors held captive by Iran. It explains the nuclear deal."   Bottom line:  Everything done/not done was to curry favor with Iran.  Unbelievable.

This kind of tells you why members of the Green Party are not known for their intelligence and moral standards. Quote: "The U.S. Green Party has put out a briefing paper for party activists instructing them to work with the Council on American-Islamic Relations and other Islamists in fighting “Islamophobia” and “oppression in all its forms.”  According to the document, “Islamophobia” is a “contrived fear or prejudice fomented by the existing Eurocentric and Orientalist global power structure” and should be treated as a type of racism.  The fact that Islam is a religion/political ideology and not a race seems not to stand in the way of the Green Party’s burgeoning alliance with Islam, says Robert Spencer, author of the Jihad Watch blog and several best-selling books about Islam.  The Green Party, like other left-of-center parties and movements, is willing to put aside its more secular worldview and adopt Islamic groups because their shared interests trump their differences, Spencer said.  “The left has been reaching out to Islamic supremacist groups and individuals for a long time. They both share a hatred for America and a contempt for the Judeo-Christian tradition,” he told WND. “The left has been peculiarly susceptible to the efforts of CAIR and other Islamic advocacy groups to portray Muslims as victims of widespread ‘bigotry’ and ‘hatred,’ no doubt because they see them as sharing their hateful anti-American goals.”

This piece reveals that the top legal officer of the state of New York is telling mayors of the cities within the state to violate federal law.  This is irresponsible behavior for political leaders.   Here is another example.

One has to wonder what value we taxpayers derive from the study of the penises of ducks and whales.  But someone or some office within the federal government thinks this is a really good use of our money.  I can think of many much better uses and I bet you can too.

Why is it that otherwise intelligent people cannot fathom that the socialistic politics of the left always end up in chaos and destruction?  This item illustrates the point. Quote: "Venezuela’s mega-protest against the Maduro dictatorship: Venezuelans take to the streets again today for a march of potentially historic proportions. The PanAm Post is blogging live about the event both here and on our Spanish site. On April 19, Venezuela celebrates the 207th anniversary of the start of its independence movement against Spain, prompting the democratic opposition against dictator Nicolás Maduro’s dictatorship to organize marches in the streets of Caracas. The country remains under economic chaos, marked by severe shortages of food and medicine, hyperinflation, and an inept system of central planning controlled by Maduro’s cronies in the armed forces. Last week, Maduro sent helicopters to drop tear gas on protesters. This week, he announced plans to provide arms to 500,000 members of an untrained militia with the intention of combatting what he considers an “illegal effort” to topple his regime. These policy choices, coupled with pressure from the Organization of American States’ (OAS) increased effort to implement a Democratic Charter and the Supreme Court’s coup d’état against the National Assembly, have increased tensions in Venezuela."    This is what socialist tyrants do - they steal private property, and worse.

This is a sorry example of left wing nonsense.  Quote: "Coulter told the Washington Post the university tried to force her to cancel her speech by “imposing ridiculous demands,” even though, as she told WND, she had agreed “to all of their silly requirements.”
Those demands included holding the event at midday rather than in evening, letting only students attend, and not announcing the exact venue until the last minute. Coulter said even though she agreed with the conditions, her speech “has been unconstitutionally banned” by the “public, taxpayer-supported U.C. Berkeley.” “They just up and announced that I was prohibited from speaking anyway,” she maintained.  “I feel like the Constitution is important and that taxpayer-supported universities should not be using public funds to violate American citizens’ constitutional rights,” Coulter added.  Berkeley spokesman Dan Mogulof said the university wants to reschedule Coulter for sometime September, and claimed it did not cancel her event because of her conservative opinions."    The political left is increasingly intolerant of open and free dialogue.  Far too often open minds close.

If Peter Singer really believes this he is sorely misguided no matter his academic credentials. Quote: "We say it often: ideas have consequences; bad ideas have victims. And a certain, consistent Princeton bioethicist continues to show just how true that is.  How do we know what’s right? Great minds have wrestled with that question for much of history. Is it doing our duty regardless of the consequences? Is it doing whatever a virtuous person would do? Is it doing what brings the most happiness to the most people?  That last option—the greatest good for the greatest number—is the basic premise behind an ethical theory called “utilitarianism,” whose main champion today is Princeton Professor Peter Singer. In his book, “Practical Ethics,” he presses this logic to chilling, yet consistent, conclusions, arguing, for example, that killing babies who are born disabled is not only acceptable, but may be morally necessary. Why? Singer believes the happiness of able-bodied persons trumps the rights of those with disabilities. Such beliefs are horrifying enough in the classroom, but they rarely stay there."

If she really believe this nonsense she too is a misguided woman no matter her vaunted position.    This is just one more reason why Planned Parenthood is a blight on society.

This type behavior has no justifications.

This is a broken record.  Liberal policies which allowed these people free access to our country needs to stop.

Thanks to the irresponsible behavior of our friends on the political left this type of idiocy is possible.

Need proof  that the mainstream media is working hard to destroy Trump and his presidency?  They do not even try to serve the interests of the public. Instead they are the political left's propaganda service.

This woman is a danger to common sense and individual freedoms. She is a strong advocate for installing socialism in our country.  The problem is that her arguments for socialism fly in the face of well established facts and obvious reality.

This woman is a disaster for the Democrat party.    How she ever got elected is beyond me.
