Every month the government issues another lie to us regarding the economy and specifically how low inflation is.  Quote: "The lies built into the politically motivated CPI figure are designed to screw senior citizens, bond investors, and average hard working Americans who depend upon annual salary increases to keep their heads above water. The US Postal Service has long been running in the red with tax payer subsidies keeping it afloat.  So, we pay postage costs that are far more than the amount affixed to each stamp.  The federal government refuses to turn this costly enterprise over to the private sector which would almost certainly reduce forced investments by tax payers.   https://www.cagw.org/media/press-releases/cagw-usps-financial-distress
