What happened to Obama 'Czars'

What ever happened to all of Obama's  Czars. They were supposed to do all of this research into all of the new programs that this administration wanted to start. After a rough start with scandals and resignations, they have fell out of the news headlines.  with all of these Czars is working behind the scenes, you would think that this administration would have come up with more new ideas to help turn around this economy.
