Interesting Items

This is a very informative and most useful piece designed to help all of us maintain rational thought.  It describes 24 cognitive biases that lead us astray.  Quote: "The “Know Thyself” infographic was put together by the talented Jesse Richardson. It breaks down 24 world view-altering biases with brief explanations. There are also a few tips on how to avoid falling into these logic traps yourself. If you require a constant reminder on how to think rationally, you can download the above graphic in poster form here."

This item provides insight into the long history of illegal Democrat use of the DOJ/FBI and intelligence services to attack their political enemies.  Quote: "As the story unfolds of how Hillary Clinton, former FBI director Comey, and the intel community in Washington trashed GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump with what is being seen as a fraudulent dossier, paid for by the Hillary campaign, and presented to the FISA court to gain permission to spy on the Trump team by unmasking NSA information, few know that this is just the most recent chapter in the long story of how the Democratic Party has used the FBI, DOJ, and intel community to attack and discredit political opponents."  And, "The fraudulent Russian dossier intended to discredit Trump was paid for by the Clinton campaign.  It was used to obtain a FISA warrant to use the NSA's information to spy on Trump's campaign, just as Robert Kennedy signed an illegal warrant to allow wiretapping of Dr. King. The smear campaign against Dr. King was a prelude to the tactics used to discredit Trump.  While everyone knows about the assassination of Dr. King, another young black leader, Fred Hampton of Chicago, was assassinated with the assistance of an FBI operative William O'Neal and the Chicago police. Civil rights lawyer Jeffrey Haas, representing Hampton's family, sued Cook County and the federal government for its involvement in the obstruction of justice and withholding of evidence and won a settlement $1.85 million. The National Archives has thousands of records relating to the DOJ's treatment of blacks. Fred Hampton was 21 years old, a brilliant political leader and active in black issues.  He established aid centers to help single mothers and brokered peace among violent black gangs in Chicago.  He was effective, but too effective.  His fatal flaw was that he was not part of Chicago's Democrat Machine."    https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2018/03/what_trump_and_martin_luther_king_jr_have_in_common.html

The liberal media is going nuts over the revelations that Trump had affairs with two women.  Both have spoken publically about their experiences with the president.  What represents truth and what not is subject to conjecture but there is no doubt there were encounters. That is not good for him or his reputation. It is best he come clean and admit to what he did, whatever it was. Nonetheless, the political left needs to move carefully because their side of the aisle is filled with unsavory behavior going back to FDR, JFK, LBJ and others, not to mention that there is a difference between consensual versus gross sexual harassment/abuse exposed by the likes of Bill Clinton, Harvey Weinstein, Matt Lauer, Charlie Rose and many other former left wing icons.  As this piece notes it is interesting that the liberal CBS TV show "60 Minutes" gave Stormy her night in the lights to discuss her consensual encounter(s)but never gave Bill Clinton's gross sexual abuse victims the courtesy of even being believed.     http://www.wnd.com/2018/03/60-minutes-stormy-stormy-porn-night/

Contrast hypocritical liberal concerns today with the opposite demonstrated when their hero, Bill Clinton was in the hot seat.   Quote: "And as for me, for the record, I’m as troubled by the allegations in 2018 as in 1998. I’m not shrugging this off. Conservatives must stand on principle and care about and condemn such outrageously and scandalously bad behavior, especially to retain any credibility. As readers here well know, I voiced character concerns about Donald Trump during his campaign in 2016 — as I had about Bill Clinton in 1992. But my focus here is liberals, and this reality: Their hypocrisy is coming back to bite them.  When liberals protest that Trump supporters aren’t taking these charges seriously, or cry foul when Trump defenders point instead to Bill Clinton in the 1990s, well, they shouldn’t be surprised. Liberals, there’s a moral-political consequence to how you covered your ears and eyes in the 1990s. And now you’ll see it among a sizable segment of voters that will reject your remonstrations of moral outrage against Donald Trump. Frustrated? So were we."    https://spectator.org/stormy-lewinsky-and-hypocrisy/?

If you use Facebook you need to read this.  Quote: "I don’t have a Facebook page. I briefly had a TBP Facebook page years ago, but I pulled the plug because I didn’t trust Zuckerberg. It seems my distrust was warranted. My wife does have a Facebook page she uses to connect with friends and family. She did have the App on her phone that Assange talks about below.  She followed his procedure and presto. She got a file with word for word conversations between her and my son, along with thousands of other “private” conversations she’s had with friends, family, doctors, etc. Facebook has all this information and will share it with the government or whoever pays them enough. Delete this App. Delete your Facebook account. They are evil. Zuckerberg has nothing but contempt for you dumb shits."    https://www.theburningplatform.com/2018/03/24/facebook-is-big-brother/     Find out what they have on you using the instructions provided.
