Does This Seem Right To You?

Government overregulation of legitimate private businesses is getting more and more out of control.  Who said we live in a free enterprise economy?   http://dailysignal.com/2014/08/12/meet-four-business-owners-squeezed-by-operation-choke-point/?

The Democrats/liberals really do have short memories.  If not short then at least we can say their memory is selective.  This is not to exonerate bad decisions and there are many made by Republican presidents, but Democrats sure can be hypocrites.  Facts are facts.  Too often they run afoul of the facts.   http://www.wnd.com/2014/08/democratic-presidents-body-count/

Another unique feature held by the liberals/Democrats is that notion of "equal pay for equal work".  They push that notion hard on the rest of us.  Let's look and see if their actions match their words.  OOOPS!  They don't.  Blacks get paid 30% less than their white counterparts. I thought they were all about equality and fair play.  At least that is what they tell us all the time.  So are they or are they not all talk and no action?  Quote:  "African-American staffers on Democratic federal-level campaigns are paid 70 cents on the dollar compared to their white counterparts; Hispanics are paid 68 cents on the dollar. Women on campaigns are also paid less than men … 95 cents on the dollar. Interestingly, although the proportions of staff are more skewed towards white men on Republican campaigns, the income disparities are more pronounced on Democratic campaigns.”  http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2014/aug/12/democrats-caught-paying-black-campaign-workers-30-/   Seems to me there is a pattern here.  Not long ago we learned that women in the White House are paid less than their male counterparts.  Uhmmm.

This item chronicles the impact government has on "mom and pop" healthcare services for the elderly, especially Medicare funding.  Don't kid yourself, this a prelude to what will happen with Obamacare services.  That will have an even broader healthcare impact.   http://dailysignal.com/2014/08/13/medicare-cuts-end-personal-touch-mom-pop-business-serving-elderly
