The conservative mindset apparently is just not genetically oriented to playing political hardball.
Time and again, progressives take the initiative and mount political and PR offensives against conservatives, rocking them back on their heels, defining the narrative in terms favorable to progressives and pre-emptively shaping public opinion in the minds of the persuadable voter.
Conservatives are forever playing an inadequate game of catchup.
When his remarks concluded, I raised my hand and said, "We're your constituents. You represent us. What you ought to do is call press conferences, write guest columns in the newspapers, send out blogs, anything you can do to raise the visibility of these bills to the average person on the street before these bills make it to the State House floor. These bills are so extreme that even the typical progressive voter in Massachusetts would oppose them if they knew about them. But it's up to you to get out in front of these and help drive public opinion."
Sowing racial/demographic division is part and parcel to the progressives' overall goal of cementing ever-greater political power and control for themselves.
Even as the progressives treat conservatives as their personal punching bags, conservatives refuse to fight back.
When coupled with the progressives' absolute mastery of manufacturing outcome-altering voter fraud and the total progressive dominance in mainstream media, the conservatives' seemingly insurmountable deficit in their ability to wage effective political trench warfare renders future major conservative political victories a very iffy proposition indeed.
